Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass subscription service is set to add seven new games to its Ultimate tier in the coming weeks. Six of these games will also be available to subscribers of the vanilla Game Pass and PC Game Pass. For Xbox fans, the Ultimate tier is the obvious choice, especially for those who regularly game on Microsoft's platform.
With Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, players gain access to everything that Game Pass has to offer. This means subscribers can enjoy all the games added to the vanilla Game Pass service on consoles, as well as any new additions through PC Game Pass. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes the benefits of Xbox Live Gold, granting subscribers a selection of free games every month, along with exclusive discounts. Furthermore, subscribers also gain access to the extensive library of games associated with EA Play, further enriching their gaming experience.
On June 22, EA Play adds the next-gen racing game Need for Speed Unbound to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, allowing subscribers to enjoy the thrilling experience. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass subscribers across all tiers gain access to the day one game The Bookwalker: Thief of Tales on the same day. Furthermore, on June 27, the Xbox Game Pass lineup expands with the inclusion of Bramble: The Mountain King and FIST: Forged In Shadow Torch. Excitingly, June 29 marks the debut of Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town on Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft has also provided a sneak peek of the upcoming July 2023 Xbox Game Pass games in its latest announcement. The announcement confirms that Arcade Paradise will be available on July 3, followed by Sword and Fairy: Together Forever on July 5.
