During the show, Manning revealed that he knows a little bit of French, while Clarkson mentioned that she recently switched her language learning app from Spanish to French. This change was to help her prepare for an upcoming trip during her break between seasons of The Kelly Clarkson Show.

The group showed Jimmy Fallon the Olympic and Paralympic medals that athletes will win this summer. Mike Tirico shared that each medal contains a small piece of the Eiffel Tower, making it a special keepsake for the winners.

The trio will be located near the Trocadero for the parade's conclusion, as mentioned in an NBC press release. Additionally, Today hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb will be back to cover the Olympics. They will be stationed on a bridge along the River Seine for NBCUniversal’s coverage of the opening ceremony of the XXXIII Olympiad.

The Paris Olympics opening ceremony will be unique as it will not take place in a stadium, but on the River Seine. Athletes from over 200 countries will be carried on a four-mile-long flotilla of more than 90 boats, culminating at the Eiffel Tower.

You can catch the live broadcast of the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony on NBC and Peacock on Friday, July 26, at 12 p.m. ET. Primetime coverage will begin at 7:30 p.m. ET. The summer games will be aired on NBC and Peacock until August 11.
