Zoë Kravitz admires her dad, Lenny Kravitz, but she doesn't always agree with his fashion choices.

In a speech honoring Lenny, who received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on March 12, Zoë, 35, expressed her love and appreciation for her dad. She mentioned that growing up with Lenny, who is 59, has been a great adventure as they have experienced a lot together.

Lenny welcomed his only daughter with ex-wife Lisa Bonet in December 1988. The exes were married from 1987 to 1993.

Zoë explained that throughout her childhood she saw her father “change in the most beautiful ways” while also staying “the same in the most important ways.” As Zoë gushed about how talented the musician is and all the things he’s accomplished over the years, she decided to poke fun at Lenny.

Zoë used to feel embarrassed by Lenny's lack of clothing when he would pick her up from school as a kid. However, as she has gotten older, she now appreciates his unique style.

"I have to admit, I really respect it now. You really know how to rock it. Your bond with a netted shirt is probably your longest one, and it suits you," Zoë expressed. "You both complement each other, and if it's working well, there's no need to change it. It's a wonderful thing."
