I've been approached by fans for years because there have always been rumors about a Tangled Broadway show or a live-action adaptation of the movie with the iconic hair. They often ask if I would reprise my role as the beloved prince. While it is an honor to be considered for such a role again, I do acknowledge the potential issue of my age. However, I jokingly mention that if Florence Pugh were to be cast as Rapunzel, there might be a comedic reason for me to return.

I would love to do another iteration, but I'm not the right fit for the role of Rapunzel. However, I saw a suggestion online that Florence Pugh could potentially play the part, and that would be interesting considering my last name is also Pugh. However, age-wise, I don't align with the character's age of 17 turning 18.

Will A Live-Action Tangled Happen?

Disney may potentially create a live-action version of Tangled in the future, although there is currently no certainty. In 2020, reports emerged about Disney working on a live-action Rapunzel film, but no information was revealed regarding its connection to their animated version. Considering the existence of the original movie as a blueprint, it would be logical for Flynn and Rapunzel to reappear in live-action form.

While it remains unconfirmed if Pugh will indeed portray Rapunzel, she seems like a suitable choice for the 18-year-old character. However, as Levi, who is 42, points out, the age difference between his Flynn and a potential new Rapunzel may not align well with the story.
