Zach Bryan and his girlfriend, Brianna Chickenfry, experienced a scary car accident recently. Chickenfry, 24, also known as Brianna LaPaglia, described the frightening details of the crash on TikTok on Tuesday, May 14.
"I just need to vent for a moment because I feel like I'm on the edge of a mental breakdown. It's been tough living on a bus for the past month," she expressed. "A couple of nights ago, Zach and I were in a terrifying car accident side by side. The car flipped multiple times, everything was smashed, and we were so grateful for wearing our seatbelts. There was a lot of blood, and we honestly thought it might be the end for us."
She was visibly emotional as she shared that Bryan, 28, was injured and needed stitches. An ambulance had to be called for assistance.
The incident happened right before they were supposed to drive to North Little Rock, Arkansas where the country singer had shows scheduled.
LaPaglia shared, "After the ambulance arrived and he got stitched up, we were relieved to find out that it didn't hit an artery. It was a big cut, but we were grateful to be safe and alive."
But as she attempted to put the scare behind her, a series of unfortunate events rattled LaPaglia further.

Brianna LaPaglia shared a story about their journey to Arkansas. As they were getting ready to depart, their cat Mango, who was not supposed to escape, suddenly ran out of the bus and into the woods. Despite their efforts to catch Mango, he managed to get through barbed wire and into the forest. Unfortunately, Zach tried to chase after Mango, causing his stitches to burst open and he started bleeding heavily.
LaPaglia was brought to tears when her pet escaped.
“I’m crying, it’s pitch black out, I’m never gonna find her,” she said. “I don’t have shoes on, [I’m] going over barbed wire, like thorns in my face, I still have glass in my f—king body.”
The influencer mentioned that she and Zach discovered the cat, but they were only able to get "two hours of sleep" during the trip to Arkansas. As a result, she felt "completely mentally exhausted."
Adding to the frustration, a second cat named Ollie escaped from the bus the next day, leading to more distress.
LaPaglia ended her honest post by sharing her struggles with her mental health.
"I'm feeling exhausted. My body is in pain and I keep discovering new bruises and cuts. Last night, I even had to remove glass from my cheek," she expressed, holding back tears.
Bryan and LaPaglia made their relationship public in July 2023 after she mentioned the country singer on her “PlanBri Uncut” podcast that month.
During the podcast, she shared, “I started spending time with a guy named Zach, what, three weeks ago? It's been enjoyable, nothing serious, and I wanted to talk about it because everyone online is going crazy and making assumptions. But really, we're just hanging out and having a good time.”
