Highlights
Tenjiku, established by Izana and Kisaki, is a formidable and merciless faction with the ultimate goal of toppling the Tokyo Manji Gang in an epic showdown known as the Kanto Incident, where they vie for domination.
Izana's deep resentment towards his adoptive family and jealousy of his brother's close bond with Mikey drove him towards a path of cruelty and delinquency. This ultimately led him to establish the ruthless Eight Generation Black Dragons, an organization known for their violent nature.
Kisaki's cunning manipulation and malevolence orchestrated the reunion of the ex-members of the S-62 Generation, who united to form Tenjiku. This organization thrived on a foundation of aggression and animosity, with the ultimate aim of establishing their own dominion, referred to as a "kingdom."
Rooted in a complex feud between its founder Izana Kurokawa and his half-brother Manjiro Sano, Tenjiku was established by Izana and his partner Kisaki Tetta as a means to overthrow the Tokyo Manji Gang. As the largest gang of delinquents in Kanagawa Prefecture, they serve as the primary antagonists in Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc, engaging in a decisive battle called the Kanto Incident for control.
Introduced in the first episode of Season 3, Tenjiku swiftly launched an assault on Toman from various angles, targeting many of its highest-ranking members, including Takemichi Hanagaki, the Captain of the First Division, and Takashi Mitsuya, the Captain of the Second Division. This provoked a fierce response from Mikey, who decided to retaliate against Tenjiku on their own territory, igniting the Kanto Incident in Tokyo Revengers: Tenjiku Arc. Sinister, merciless, brutal, and shrouded in secrecy, Tenjiku poses a new and unparalleled threat compared to previous adversaries faced by the Tokyo Manji Gang.
The Root Of Izana's Hatred
Upon joining the Sano family alongside his half-sister Emma, Izana Kurokawa developed a close bond with the eldest child, Shinichiro Sano, who took him under his wing. Unfortunately, his relationship with his adoptive mother Karen Kurokawa was strained. Karen showed no care or affection towards her own daughter Emma, or towards Izana, who was the result of her ex-husband's affair.
After marrying into the Sano family, Karen decided to put Izana up for adoption and essentially abandoned Emma, leaving her in the care of Mikey's grandfather, Mansaku Sano. Even after leaving the Sano household, Izana maintained regular correspondence with Shinichiro, who watched out for him. However, Shinichiro continuously mentioned his younger brother Manjiro (Mikey), which made Izana envious of their close relationship.
Forming The S-62 Generation
As Shinichiro planned to pass on his gang, the Black Dragons, to his biological younger brother Manjiro, Izana's jealousy grew even more intense. This sense of being excluded and betrayed by those close to him caused Izana, who had once been kind and empathetic, to veer towards a path of cruelty and delinquency. He went on to establish a violent organization consisting of formidable fighters he had met at a juvenile detention center.

Infamously known as the S-62 Generation, this group garnered significant attention with their involvement in illicit pursuits such as assaults, robberies, and drug trafficking. Expanding their reach and strengthening their operations, each member went on to establish their own gangs, creating a formidable network to perpetuate their activities.
For example, Jugem was a gang led by Kanji Mochizuki, who frequently clashed with the Twin Devils Gang, which was headed by Souya Kawata and Nahoya Kawata. Following their victory over Max Maniacs, the Haitani brothers Ran and Rindo came to rule over the Roppongi district. Eventually, Izana took charge of the Eight Generation Black Dragons, transforming them into a more malevolent and aggressive organization. Shion Madarame, a member of the S-62 Generation, succeeded Izana as the leader of the Ninth Generation.
In an effort to carry out Izana's desires and eliminate Manjiro Sano, this version of the gang targeted Kazutora Hanemiya. This ultimately led to the establishment of the Tokyo Manji Gang, who swiftly defeated and overpowered them. As time went on, Izana and his fellow delinquents from the S-62 Generation either reduced their involvement in criminal activities or joined other gangs. Yasuhiro Muto, for instance, became the Fifth Division Captain of the Tokyo Manji Gang until Izana made his return.
Taking Down The Tokyo Manji Gang
Tokyo Revengers Tenjiku Arc New Key Visual
Kisaki Tetta's resentment towards the Tokyo Manji Gang, who expelled him after the incidents of the Christmas Showdown Arc, became the catalyst for reuniting the former members of the S-62 Generation, who were the core of Tenjiku. Exploiting Kisaki's malevolence, Izana brought his old comrades back together, forming an organization based on violence and animosity, with the goal of establishing a "kingdom" with the assistance of his delinquent associates.
Tenjiku members wear a distinctive uniform consisting of a lengthy red jacket featuring their emblem, a yin and yang symbol, prominently displayed on the back. The word "Yokohama" is written below the emblem, while "First Generation" is positioned above it. Additionally, Tenjiku's mottoes are engraved on the sleeves and rear flaps of their jackets. The length of the jackets varies based on member rank, with higher-ranking individuals sporting longer jackets and lower-ranking members donning shorter ones.
In terms of structure, Tenjiku's hierarchy was led by Izana, who served as the Boss and played a central role in its operations. Supporting Izana were the "Four Heavenly Kings," a group comprised of the gang's strongest fighters, namely Kakucho, Ran Haitani, Kanji Mochizuki, and Shion Madarame. These four individuals likely held a level of power equivalent to the Division Captains of the Tokyo Manji Gang.
Beneath them were the Executives, high-ranking members such as Yasuhiro Muto, Rindo Haitani, Shuji Hanma, and later, Hajime Kokonoi.
In a unique position was Kisaki Tetta, who held the title of General Chief of Staff, specially created for him. While determining his exact position within the hierarchy was challenging, Kisaki wielded significant authority within the organization and had the ability to command almost anyone, except for those ranked at the Executive level or above, to fulfill his desires. Capitalizing on Izana's animosity, Kisaki leveraged it to fuel his own personal grudge against the Tokyo Manji Gang, vowing to annihilate them at all costs.
