NCIS: Hawai’i fans should prepare for an exciting season 3 finale, as hinted by star Yasmine Al-Bustami.

During an interview with TVLine on Friday, March 22, Al-Bustami, 35, playfully shared, “Ohhhhhh, there’s so much gossip.” She revealed that the finale will be a two-parter, which she personally enjoys, and mentioned that filming for the last episode began on Thursday, March 21.

The actress who portrays Lucy Tara mentioned that the show includes plenty of action and death.

Season 3 of the show led by Vanessa Lachey started in February, and as of Monday, March 25, viewers are already halfway through the season. Although the finale date has not been announced yet, it will be broadcast on CBS later this year.

Al-Bustami didn't reveal which character will be killed off this season, but she did tease what viewers can expect in the upcoming episode airing on Monday, following a three-week break.

In the previous episode on March 4th, Lucy and her partner Kate Whistler went undercover as a newlywed couple. As the show resumes, Lucy will face challenges while safeguarding a Russian VIP in the city.

Al-Bustami shared that Lucy is assigned to watch over a Russian visitor named Tatiana who is not thrilled about the mission. Despite being considered Russian 'royalty,' Tatiana is quite controversial and faces resistance on the island. This leads to Lucy getting into some trouble while dealing with her.

One positive outcome of Lucy's conflict with Tatiana is that viewers get a glimpse into the agent's background.

Al-Bustami expressed his interest in learning about Lucy's background and family history because she usually keeps it private. She doesn't easily share or open up, even to those close to her, unless someone discovers something by investigating.

In addition to upcoming drama on NCIS: Hawai’i, the NCIS universe will mark its 1,000th episode next month. Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Lachey will make a crossover appearance as Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennant on NCIS to commemorate the milestone episode airing on April 16.

NCIS: Los Angeles alum Daniel Ruah, who played Special Agent Kensi Blye-Deeks, will also make a cameo.

NCIS: Hawai’i airs on CBS Mondays at 10 p.m. ET.
