Wolf Pack Season 2: Will It Happen? Everything We Know

Exploring the possibilities of Wolf Pack season 2 and the latest updates on its production and storyline.

The Success of Wolf Pack Season 1

Wolf Pack Interview: Sarah Michelle Gellar & Rodrigo Santoro

Given the success of Wolf Pack season 1, a second season makes perfect sense, yet details on Wolf Pack season 2 are slim. The drama series premiered on Paramount Plus in January 2023, and marked the return of Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar to the supernatural teen genre. Wolf Pack deals with a California wildfire that forces a terrifying creature to awaken, and this event spirals into further chaos as the town’s teenagers discover a secret that connects them all.

The eight-episode debut season garnered mixed reviews but still proved to be popular. While Teen Wolf led the way for werewolf-based teen dramas, Wolf Pack's fresh spin on the werewolf genre made for a fun, binge-worthy watch. Based on data procured from Parrot Analytics, TheWrap reported that Wolf Pack was one of the “most in-demand new shows' during its first season. Given that the season 1 finale ends with an inconclusive cliffhanger, Wolf Pack season 2 is also essential from a narrative viewpoint.

Updates on Wolf Pack Season 2

After nearly a year since the debut of the first season, news has been rather slim, and Sarah Michelle Gellar has now given an uncertain update about Wolf Pack season 2. The unresolved nature of Wolf Pack's storyline made season 2 an absolute must, but Gellar reports that 'We ask… and we ask… but…. Still crickets, thus far.' This isn't good news for the fledgling series, especially because there is no longer any reason for the delay since the resolution of the Hollywood strikes.

There has not been any official confirmation of Wolf Pack season 2 from Paramount+. In the first quarter of 2023, the streaming giant had high ratings due to the Yellowstone spinoff 1923 and Wolf Pack season 1. Paramount has already confirmed 1923 season 2, but no progress has been made on Wolf Pack season 2.

Speculations for Wolf Pack Season 2

Though nothing has been officially confirmed, it can be assumed that many of the Wolf Pack cast members will reprise their roles for season 2. Sarah Michelle Gellar would most likely reprise her role as Kristin Ramsey, and she would probably be joined by the likes of Armani Jackson as Everett, Bella Shepard as Blake, and Tyler Lawrence Gray as Harlan. Other likely returns include Chase Liefeld as Baron and Rodrigo Santoro as Garrett Briggs.

One thing that can be presumed is that the population of werewolves is bound to increase in Wolf Pack season 2. The season 1 finale ended with a twist regarding Kristin’s werewolf origins and her family history. It turns out she is the biological mother of Harlan, Luna, and Baron. With Harlan and Luna finding out about their real lineage, it will be interesting to see how season 2 explores their relationship with their foster father, Garrett.

Phoebe might no longer be relevant to the plot, but her death is bound to still haunt her former best friend, Blake, in Wolf Pack season 2. Blake has had technology issues ever since she unlocked her mother's phone and discovered she was having an affair. This issue led to her ghosting Phoebe. Even though the former friends managed to bury their hatchet eventually, Phoebe’s death in a werewolf attack could have been avoided if Blake had warned her.
