Will Smith Shares Heartfelt Thanksgiving Photo with Jada Pinkett Smith Amid Separation

Monday, November 27, 2023 - Despite their ongoing separation, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith showed a united front during Thanksgiving 2023. Pinkett Smith, 52, took to Instagram on Friday, November 24 to share photos from their seemingly perfect Thanksgiving Day and expressed her well wishes.
Pinkett Smith was joined by her children Willow, 23, and Jaden, 25, as well as her mother Adrienne Banfield-Norris in several photos. In one shot, Smith, 55, and Pinkett Smith posed together, with the Oscar winner leaning down to embrace her and resting his hand on her shaved head. Smith also shared a photo on his Instagram, in which he kissed the top of Pinkett Smith's head and wrapped an arm around her waist, causing her to close her eyes and smile.
Smith’s eldest son, Trey, whom he shares with ex-wife Sheree Zampino was also at the festivities. The blended family even stood for a group photo together.

"Smith took to Instagram on Friday to share his excitement for the "Best Thanksgiving Ever!!" as he posted a photo with Pinkett Smith, Zampino, 56, and their three kids. Norris, 70, also captured the festivities on her Instagram and described the day as filled with eating, laughter, and love. She also gave a sneak peek of the beautifully decorated tablescape, adorned with votive candles and elegant orange-and-white decorations."
Two years after divorcing Zampino, Smith married Pinkett Smith in 1997. They ended their marriage in 2016 but did not announce it until earlier this year. During an October appearance on the Today show, Pinkett Smith discussed her Worthy memoir and mentioned, "I think, by the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted with trying. I think we were both kind of just still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be."

Pinkett Smith, who detailed the separation in her book, added that the couple were living apart but there is “no divorce on paper.”

"I don't think we're quite ready yet," she told Hoda Kotb on Today. "We're still trying to figure out how to be in a partnership and how to present that to others, you know? We just haven't figured that out yet. We're working hard to bring our relationship back together and be life partners."
Smith has shown continuous support for Pinkett Smith’s memoir, even in light of its surprising revelations. During a recent social media video where Pinkett Smith revealed the book cover to her family, Smith, along with Willow and Jaden, was seen in attendance.
