On October 7, during the university's family weekend, a video capturing Will wearing headphones and playing Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" at the DJ booth went viral on social media. In addition, he enthusiastically interacted with the soundboard's controls, clapping his hands above his head. Adding to the excitement, he used a fog cannon to create a smokey effect that engulfed the crowd.
Prior to USC's overtime victory against the Arizona Wildcats, students enthusiastically celebrated alongside Will. He was sporting a USC-logo zip-up hoodie and a backward hat, setting the mood with his energetic singing, synchronized clapping, and lively dance moves.
