Kyra Sedgwick recently added some new chickens to her farm. She talked about her new feathered friends during an episode of The View on Monday, April 1. Whoopi Goldberg warned her about a dark future ahead for the chickens. Sedgwick, 58, and her husband Kevin Bacon are expanding their collection of animals on the farm.

Sedgwick expressed her love for her pets, saying, "Oh, my God, I love them so much." She also believed that her pets love her in return.

The View cohost Sunny Hostin shared with Sedgwick some good news, saying, "They do, because they can recognize up to 30 faces."

However, moderator Goldberg, who is 68 years old, had a more pessimistic view, telling Sedgwick, "You'll regret it when you try to eat them."

Sedgwick simply laughed at the comment. Although a chicken dinner may not be in the plans, she did mention that she and Bacon, who is 65 years old, do enjoy eating the eggs.

The animals on the farm are all named except for the new chickens. Sedgwick mentioned that they haven't been given names yet.

Sedgwick and Bacon take care of a variety of animals, such as alpacas, pigs, mini horses, and a goat, which they enjoy sharing on social media.

The couple, who marked their 35th wedding anniversary in September 2023, recently created a “morning serenade” for their animal family, featuring an acoustic rendition of Beyoncé‘s “Texas Hold ‘Em.” A video of this special moment was shared on Instagram on February 26.

Bacon introduced his chickens in a TikTok video that he posted in October 2023. The video featured him and his daughter Sosie singing Bruce Springsteen's "Atlantic City."

In the video, the 32-year-old Smile actress opened by crooning, "Well, they blew up the

Bacon posted a video with the caption, "Welcoming our chickens with some Springsteen music."

Recently, Bacon shared that the chickens might have a lucky break and not end up on their plates.

The actor mentioned to People in November 2023 that he no longer consumes goat and pig. He explained that this decision was made because he now owns goats and pigs. His wife jokingly reminded him that they cannot acquire more animals since he has stopped eating them.
