When will Invincible Season 2 come back?
The next four episodes of Invincible Season 2 are anticipated to be released in early 2024. Despite the disappointment of not having a new episode next week, creator Robert Kirkman feels that fans will benefit from a break following the events of Episode 4, after waiting for the second season for two and a half years.
During a recent interview with Collider, creator Robert Kirkman shared the various reasons behind the decision to split the season. “The production process has taken longer than expected, which is part of it,” he stated. He also mentioned, “This is a tradition for every season of The Walking Dead, and I think it’s narratively interesting to have that pause to process what’s been happening. After watching Episode 4 of Season 2, you might need a breather. It’s a huge episode, definitely a mid-season finale type of episode.”
"With so much happening during the holiday season, like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, along with a lot of family time, I believe many shows tend to be overlooked. Taking a break can make the story hit even harder, and I think viewers will understand what I mean once the season begins."
