Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 Release Pushed Back to 2024

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, highly anticipated sequel, faces delay until 2024 Fans eagerly await the new release date, to be revealed next month

The release date for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has been officially delayed by Focus Entertainment to the "second half of 2024." This announcement was made in a letter titled "Update on execution of the line-up and partnerships," which also mentioned that the new release date will be announced "in early December."

Originally planned for a "winter" release, Space Marine 2 was announced during the Summer Game Fest, with a trailer in late August revealing an upcoming beta test that players could sign up for on the official website. The anticipated release date announcement of "early December" corresponds with The Game Awards scheduled for December 7, where Space Marine 2 has been prominently featured in the past, including its official announcement trailer in 2021 and its first gameplay trailer last year.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is slated to launch for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.

Editor's P/S

As a Gen Z fan, I am both excited and disappointed by the delay of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2. On one hand, I am thrilled that the developers are taking their time to ensure that the game is polished and meets the expectations of fans. On the other hand, I am disappointed that I will have to wait longer to play the game.

I believe that the delay is ultimately a good thing for the game. It will give the developers more time to work on the game and make it the best it can be. I am confident that the wait will be worth it and that Space Marine 2 will be a great game.
