Viola Davis, along with her husband Julius Tennon and their 13-year-old daughter Genesis, showcased impeccable style on the L'Oréal Paris runway during the sixth annual Le Défilé fashion show, held on Sunday, October 1. The event marked L'Oréal Paris' partnership with Paris Fashion Week.

Davis appeared stunning in a black high-slit dress, enhancing her look with gold metallic platform heels and thick black bangle bracelets. Her hair was styled in textured curls, resembling a crown. For a glamorous touch, Davis chose smokey eye makeup, dramatic lashes, bronzed cheeks, and a bold red lip. On the other hand, Tennon, 69, looked dapper in a patterned button-up shirt, complemented by a plaid blazer and light-colored pants. He completed his ensemble with brown dress shoes and beaded bracelets.

In contrast, Genesis stole the spotlight with a captivating mint green gown. The floor-length dress had a silky texture, featuring a crystal lining and a corset bodice adorned with feathers. The teenager paired the dress with dangling earrings, and her hair was styled in trendy box braids.

Davis and Tennon exchanged vows in a cozy ceremony in June 2003, having crossed paths while working on the CBS show, City of Angels, in 1999.

“He fully understood my feelings of isolation. I was in Los Angeles, feeling miserable, and he stepped in, saying, ‘Let me be your guide to Los Angeles. Let me show you the beauty of Santa Monica pier,’” Davis shared with We magazine in 2013. “Right from the very beginning, it felt like pure magic!”

Davis spoke fondly to Us about her experience as a mother and her efforts to raise Genesis as a resilient and empowered young woman. She and Tennon adopted Genesis in October 2011 and later reaffirmed their commitment to each other through a vow renewal ceremony in February 2016. While Genesis is Davis' first child, Tennon already had two children from a previous relationship.

“I hope she embraces self-respect, self-love, refuses to settle, doesn't give up after making a mistake, and recognizes that mistakes are a crucial part of her personal development,” shared the EGOT recipient with Us in February 2018. "Above all, I want her to understand that true beauty is not solely tied to her physical appearance."

Apart from Davis and her family, the L’Oréal event, named Walk Your Worth, featured other notable personalities such as Kendall Jenner, Camila Cabello, Elle Fanning, Eva Longoria, Helen Mirren, and Andie MacDowell.

The company stated in a press release on Monday that the presentation was organized to commemorate the achievements of women and their exceptional talent in both beauty and fashion. This extravagant event took place on the esplanade of the Eiffel Tower.
