Tom Schwartz of Vanderpump Rules still holds affection for his co-star Ariana Madix, despite the tension in their relationship. When questioned about his current relationship with the 38-year-old Ariana during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on Tuesday, November 28th, Schwartz, 41, expressed his continued fondness for her.
"Did you catch her dancing to Britney Spears on Dancing With the Stars?" Schwartz asked host Andy Cohen, as the crowd cheered. "She's really becoming a pop culture icon, but I wish we were on better terms. I'm always happy to see her, but I don't think she's thrilled to see me."
Schwartz's friendship with Ariana turned sour after Tom Sandoval's affair with Raquel Leviss was revealed in March. Ariana and Sandoval, 41, ended their nine-year relationship in the aftermath of the scandal.
Ariana discovered that Schwartz had known about her ex's infidelity for months as the timeline became clear. In the three-part Pump Rules season 10 finale, which aired in May and June, she decided to cut ties with him.

"I don't believe you are a co-conspirator, but I can't be friends with Sandoval. So, I can't be your friend anymore," she said before bursting into tears.
Ariana also criticized Schwartz during a May appearance on WWHL, accusing him of being a key player in crafting a false narrative without her knowledge, alongside her ex-boyfriend and his allies."
Schwartz provided an update on his relationship with Ariana on Tuesday and also mentioned that he has not been in recent contact with Raquel, 29. "But I hope she is doing well," added Schwartz, who caused controversy last year by kissing Raquel against the wishes of his ex-wife Katie Maloney.
Schwartz, Sandoval, and Ariana have come together to film season 11 of Pump Rules, scheduled to debut in January. Meanwhile, Raquel has chosen not to continue with the series following the events of season 10.
Sandoval told We on Monday, November 27, that he hopes viewers will remember his decade-long journey on the Bravo series when they watch the next installment. "We're always having difficult conversations with the last person we want to talk to," Sandoval said. "It's hard to stay composed... but you do your best. I'm relieved that filming for the season is over, but there's also a feeling of not wanting it to air."
Ariana has admitted to feeling anxious that her fans may backlash against her once the new episodes are broadcast. Just recently, she responded to an Instagram user's prediction that Pump Rules fans will "hate Ariana" and "develop a soft spot for Tom" in season 11, saying, "Certainly wouldn't be surprised if the audience swings that way."
