Lala Kent announced that she is expecting her second child, only a month after sharing her plans for intrauterine insemination (IUI).
In an Instagram post on Sunday, March 3, the 33-year-old reality star captioned a photo of her daughter Ocean, who will be turning 3 this month, next to her growing baby bump with the words, "I'm expanding my pod."
Just a little over a month since Vanderpump Rules star shared her news, a recent announcement has been made.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan on January 30, Kent expressed, "I never imagined I would be on this path. I had always envisioned a traditional relationship and starting a family. However, I am grateful for the unexpected turn of events and the opportunities it has brought."

Kent and Ocean’s father, Randall Emmett, parted ways in October 2021, just seven months after Ocean was born. Despite not having found the right partner yet, Kent has always known that she wants more children.
“I really want to have another baby,” Kent shared exclusively with We two months after her daughter was born. She added, “I'm not in a rush because I am so in love with Ocean and want to cherish every moment with her. But at the same time, I do feel the pressure to have another baby soon.”
Kent shared in July 2022 that she wanted more children and was not waiting for a co-parent. She expressed her desire for more kids but not more baby daddies. Kent mentioned that she would only consider a sperm donor as an option at the moment due to feeling cautious.
In a January interview with Cosmo, Kent revealed that she had found a donor whom she felt a strong connection with. She described the moment of finding the donor as speaking to her and feeling like he could be her baby daddy. Kent mentioned that once she could proceed with the IUI, they would move forward with their plans.
The Bravo star shared that she decided to be transparent about her journey of trying to conceive while being single to support others facing a similar situation.
She emphasized the importance of discussing this topic as there are many women who feel the pressure to wait for a partner before starting a family, when there are alternative options available for pregnancy. Kent encouraged those longing for children to explore different paths to parenthood instead of solely relying on finding a romantic partner.
