In Assassin's Creed Mirage, players will discover a wealth of exploration opportunities in Baghdad's districts. To fully complete the game, it is essential to locate and obtain various collectibles. Within the Harbiyah district, gamers can unearth six Gear Chests, each housing valuable equipment that enhances Basim's arsenal.

One of these chests can be found within the Damascus Gate Prison. This guide will assist Assassin's Creed Mirage players in locating the Damascus Gate Prison Gear Chest and provide instructions on accessing it to acquire its contents.

Damascus Gate Prison Gear Chest Location

Players no longer need to infiltrate Damascus Gate Prison to access the chest. Located within the chamber beneath the staircase leading to the prison's front gate, the Damascus Gate Prison Gear Chest awaits.

The entrance to the prison is guarded by three personnel, with an additional two stationed on each side of the walls. Separating the entrance is a corridor resembling a moat, flanked by the chamber beneath the steps. Due to the restricted nature of this area, it is advisable for players to eliminate the guards discreetly, although sneaking past them on the upper level remains a viable option.

The chamber is protected by strong metal bars. There is a door on the right side of the chamber, but it is locked. Players will have to open it in order to reach the Gear Chest.

How to Open the Door

Unable to retrieve the key to the door, players will need to explore alternative methods of gaining access. Fortunately, the metal bars on the left side of the chamber have sustained damage. The first step is to make their way to the adjacent corridor on the left and eliminate the two guards stationed there. Once that is done, they must skillfully employ a Throwing Knife to break the lock on the door from the inside by aiming it accurately through the hole.

Activating Eagle Vision reveals the door lock in vivid red, facilitating precise knife throws to dismantle it. Upon success, the door unlocks, granting players access to the Damascus Gate Prison Gear Chest.

Damascus Gate Prison Gear Chest Reward

The Zank Uprising Sword can be found in the Damascus Gate Prison Gear Chest. It possesses a base damage of 60 and a base defense damage of 35.

With the Strike Back perk, whenever the player successfully executes a Perfect Dodge, their subsequent attack will inflict an additional 50 percent damage.
