Disney's 100 year anniversary on Monday is being commemorated through the captivating new short film, "Once Upon a Studio," which breathes life into the walls of the company's animation studio.

In this 12-minute masterpiece, Mickey and Minnie Mouse take center stage, aided by the enchanting Tinker Bell, as they orchestrate a remarkable gathering of 543 Disney characters, including both heroes and villains, for a momentous group photo. Symbolizing the significance of this occasion, Burny Mattinson, a seasoned animator with 70 years of experience at the studio, skillfully seals the doors to Disney's Burbank animation studio as the characters elegantly depart.

"Lets get the gang!" Minnie says, as she proceeds to send the signal by singing, "yoo-hoo!"

Characters from more than 85 Disney films over ten decades are featured.

Variety reported that Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, known for their roles as Anna and Elsa in "Frozen," respectively, along with Jeremy Irons (Scar from "The Lion King) and Jodi Benson (Ariel from "The Little Mermaid"), among 40 other voice actors, have returned to provide their voices for this project. The late Robin Williams, who voiced the Genie in "Aladdin," is also featured in the short using original recordings, as confirmed by producer Brad Simonsen.

In a touching scene, an anxious Mickey Mouse suddenly halts in a corridor upon encountering a painting of Walt Disney, the very person responsible for his existence. Mickey respectfully takes off his hat, expresses his gratitude to his creator, and remarks, "I have to leave now, but I'm grateful! Let's carry on with the performance."

Meanwhile, outside, Goofy endeavors to position the camera on a ladder but unfortunately loses balance and falls to the ground, causing the camera to shatter.

"As the characters start singing "When You Wish Upon a Star" from the beloved 1940 animated classic "Pinocchio," Cinderella's fairy godmother gracefully waves her wand, magically placing Goofy and the camera on top of the ladder. With all 543 characters now gathered together, they are ready for their group photo.

The short concludes with the heartfelt message displayed on the screen, saying, "To everyone who has shared in our imagination, laughter, and dreams, we sincerely thank you.""

"Once Upon a Studio" is streaming now on Disney+.
