Ubisoft has released patch 1.0.4 for Assassin's Creed Mirage, fixing an issue that caused cinematics to not play properly.
The patch is exclusively accessible for console versions of the game. However, PC players will observe the 1.0.4 version number while receiving the identical 1.0.2 changelog.
Certain players have noticed enhanced console performance after installing the patch, whereas others have encountered deteriorated frame rates and screen tearing, particularly on PS5.
Ubisoft has recently launched the 1.0.4 update for Assassin's Creed Mirage, marking the second patch for this highly acclaimed franchise since its release on October 5. Alongside the initial version of the game, players were provided with the 1.0.2 update, which addressed numerous bugs and made notable performance enhancements. Following this, Ubisoft swiftly released the 1.0.3 patch to tackle audio glitches and UI problems in Assassin's Creed Mirage.
The 1.0.4 update, despite its large file size of approximately 3.5GB, is the game's most minor patch released so far. The changelog for this update only mentions a single fix, which addresses the issue that caused cinematics to not play correctly. Interestingly, this problem did not affect PC players, as the patch notes specifically state that the fix is exclusively for the console versions of Assassin's Creed Mirage. Although PC players will see the 1.0.4 version number when launching Mirage, clicking on the patch notes will display the same 1.0.2 changelog that has been present since the game's release.
