In the Assassin's Creed Mirage rendition of Baghdad, there exists a single significant hammam located in the Abbasiyah District. Players will notice the appearance of a gear chest icon on their compass as they approach the bathhouse, but obtaining its contents will prove to be more challenging than simply gaining access.

How to Find the Hammam Gear Chest

Unlike other gear chest locations, Basim can freely enter the hammam without any guards or locks hindering him. Players can simply walk through the front door and begin exploring the interior.

Nevertheless, there are a few obstacles between Basim and the gear chest. Although the chest is on the same level as the entrance, accessing the room where the chest is located is prevented by a barred interior door. Alternatively, players can navigate around the exterior and discover a weak stone wall, but unfortunately, there are no oil jars in sight.

But the absence of oil jars within visible range does not imply their absence in close proximity. Players utilizing Eagle Vision in the vicinity of the stone wall will perceive an oil jar situated in a section adjacent to the hammam. Regrettably, progress is impeded by an immovable stone shelf obstructing the passage, despite a cautionary note on the wall explicitly advising against attempting to dislodge it.

How to Reach the Hammam Oil Jars

To access the oil, it is impossible to do so from the outside, but there is a way to reach it from the inside. To begin, enter the hammam through the front door and pay no attention to the barred door. Instead, continue along the left wall. Eventually, players will come across another door in the bathing area, which lacks both a lock and a bar. Directly ahead are the oil jars, with a stone shelf situated just beyond them.

At this stage, players have the option to pick up a jar and return through the hammam in order to reach the stone wall, or they can eliminate the pots obstructing the stone shelf and relocate it to create a shortcut. Regardless of the chosen method, the only task remaining is to hurl a jar at the stone wall to shatter it. However, it is imperative to ensure that no civilians are positioned nearby, as this may attract unwanted attention from the guards.

The hammam gear chest can be found directly in front of the broken wall, along with the barred door. Inside the chest, you will discover the Zanj Uprising Dagger, or possibly a schematic to upgrade the dagger. This weapon inflicts greater regular damage and lesser defense damage than the initial dagger, and it includes the unique ability called Second Wind. Whenever Basim skillfully dodges, he will restore 10% of his Stamina.
