MF Ghost fans were thrilled to hear the announcement of the show's return in 2024 through an exciting teaser trailer. While the official release date is still pending, given that Season 1 aired in October 2023 on Tokyo MX, BS11, and RKB Mainichi Broadcasting channel, fans are anticipating the release of Season 2 in late Fall or early Winter.

The latest season of MF Ghost is available for streaming on Crunchyroll. Taking place in the year 202X, the storyline is even more futuristic than Initial D. The series chronicles Kanata Katagiri's return from Britain to Japan for the MFG, a new racing circuit held on Japanese motorways, as well as his quest to locate his father. With the majority of traditional fossil fuel powered cars becoming obsolete due to self-driving electric vehicles, will Katagiri be able to claim the championship and uncover the truths he's searching for?
