Recently, new information about the highly anticipated second season of the anime series, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, has been unveiled. Through an exciting trailer and key visual, the release date for the upcoming season has been announced. Fans of the series will be able to watch it on Crunchyroll's streaming platform this summer. In this season, viewers will follow Rudeus as he embarks on a quest to find his mother, Zenith, and the premiere episode is scheduled for July 2.

The protagonist of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is a 34-year-old shut-in who has been mistreated and bullied his entire life. After a tragic bus accident, he is reborn in a fantasy world with memories of his past life intact. Now known as Rudeus Greyrat, he discovers that he has an extraordinary gift for magic and is taken under the wing of a mage named Roxy Migurdia. However, his newfound happiness is short-lived as unexpected events within his family and the world around him threaten to shatter his peace. In season 2, a catastrophic magical disaster has left countless dead or missing, including Rudeus's own mother.

The upcoming second season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime series, based on the original light novel by Rifujin na Magonote and illustrated by Shirotaka, will feature "spiral" by LONGMAN as the opening theme song and "Musubime" by Yuiko Ohara as the ending theme song. In addition, six new characters will be introduced with their voices brought to life by talented cast members such as Haruka Shiraishi and Yu Kobayashi. Both parts of the first season, consisting of 23 episodes in total, were produced by Studio Bind and directed by Manabu Okamoto, who also worked on the 2018 mecha anime series, Darling in the FranXX. Fans can catch up on the series by streaming both parts of the first season on Crunchyroll, with the second season set to be simulcast on the platform starting from July 2.
