How to Get Abstruse Sigil

Unlike materials found in the wilds or side quest caches, Abstruse Sigil can only be obtained through salvaging gear. However, once players acquire this elusive material, they can use it to craft powerful items and weapons.

Acquiring Abstruse Sigil is no easy feat, requiring players to exercise patience and perseverance. The material is scarce and obtaining even a small amount can take considerable time. To get their hands on this coveted item, players must salvage Legendary jewelry at a blacksmith. However, Legendary jewelry is limited to amulets and rings, which drop less frequently than other items. Despite the difficulty, the rewards of obtaining Abstruse Sigil are well worth the effort.

Getting a Legendary Amulet or Ring is an even greater challenge, especially for beginners who have yet to complete the campaign or reach the level cap. The most effective way to obtain a Legendary early on is to progress through the campaign, as players are guaranteed to receive a Legendary at the end of each Act. However, since there is no guarantee as to which Legendary item will be obtained, getting a Legendary Amulet or Ring that can be salvaged for an Abstruse Sigil may prove to be difficult.

How to Use Abstruse Sigil

Abstruse Sigil, like other materials in the game, is an essential component used in crafting. While ore and herbs are utilized for creating potions and improving weapons and armor, Abstruse Sigil serves a distinct purpose. It can be utilized by a Jeweler to upgrade Legendary Amulets and Rings. Players can unlock the Jeweler at Level 20 by completing a simple quest, granting them access to the Jeweler's range of services, including the ability to remove socketed gems.

It's important to note that Abstruse Sigils can enhance Legendary Amulets and Rings, even when players are below the level cap. However, since these resources are initially scarce, it's wise to save them until after completing the campaign. While upgrading equipment can be beneficial, it's best to reserve rare materials like Abstruse Sigil for the endgame content that lies ahead.

As players advance and unlock higher World Tiers, they'll have access to more Legendaries, making it easier to acquire and utilize Abstruse Sigils to boost their builds.
