During the recent Pokemon Presents event, The Pokemon Company unveiled new information about the upcoming DLC packs for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. These packs will introduce four new Pokemon to players. The first expansion, called The Teal Mask, is scheduled to release on September 13.

The Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet not only offers the opportunity to encounter various Pokemon from past games in the series but also introduces exciting new Pokemon for players to catch. Previously, Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, and Ogerpon were confirmed for The Teal Mask. However, the latest announcement reveals another Pokemon that will be available for players to catch in the DLC.

New Pokemon Revealed During the August 2023 Pokemon Presents Event

The upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's Teal Mask DLC introduces a fresh evolution for the apple-themed Pokemon, Applin. This new form, called Dipplin, presents an enticing transformation where Applin resembles a delectable candied apple. Dipplin belongs to the Grass/Dragon-type category, though the exact conditions for Applin to evolve into Dipplin remain shrouded in mystery. The Teal Mask DLC will grant access to Dipplin starting from September 13, while the other trio of recently unveiled Pokemon from the Pokemon Presents event will be introduced in The Indigo Disk expansion later this year. These additions include Archaludon, an evolved variant of Duraludon, as well as Paradox forms of Raikou and Cobalion known as Raging Bolt and Iron Crown, respectively.

Riddler Khu, a trusted source, recently hinted that the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC called Teal Mask would introduce seven fresh Pokemon. Assuming this information is accurate, players can still expect to encounter two additional Pokemon when the DLC is released on September 13. It is possible that Nintendo or The Pokemon Company may reveal these mystery Pokemon before the Teal Mask launch, but there is also a chance that fans misinterpreted Riddler Khu's hints. If that is the case, the only new Pokemon introduced in the Teal Mask DLC would be Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, Ogerpon, and Dipplin. Fans will need to wait and see for confirmation.
