Pokemon Scarlet and Violet recently released version update 1.3.1 at the end of May to address some bugs that were discovered during a recent battle tournament. Unfortunately, this update did not include any new features that players were hoping for.
Last week, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet introduced new 5-star Tera raid battles against Great Tusk and Iron Treads, which are the version-exclusive Paradox forms of Donphan. Additionally, the 7-star Tera raid against Chesnaught the Unrivaled was supposed to start its second round. However, the raids were canceled due to game-crashing bugs that appeared when battling against Great Tusk and Iron Treads. It is currently unknown when these issues will be resolved, but in the meantime, Nintendo has provided relief to players who experienced unrelated problems in the latest update for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
In Pokemon Scarlet and Violet version 1.3.1, a bug was reported during an invitation-only competition held in Japan and South Korea. This bug caused inconvenience to players as it prevented them from exiting the battle menus and requesting rematches with their opponents. As a result, the Pokemon World Championship Qualifier Tournaments in these regions were affected, and players received emails with further details. To ensure a fair competition, the affected tournaments will resume over the weekend, including necessary rematches and do-overs. However, Nintendo did not publish the full patch notes for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet version 1.3.1 at the time of writing.
Although Pokemon Scarlet and Violet received a patch update, it does not include any Pokemon Home updates. The long-awaited Pokemon Home 3.00 update was initially planned to release this week, but due to a miscommunication between the various international branches, the compatibility with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet was delayed. As of now, there is no specific timetable for the Pokemon Home update, but Pokemon assured trainers that the update is almost ready for release.
Players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet may need to exercise patience as the next Tera raid battles may experience delays due to the issues that arose during last week's raids. It is important to note that both Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are currently accessible on the Nintendo Switch.
