During the week, a reliable leaker named billbil-kun accurately leaked the inclusion of the 2022 Saints Row reboot game as one of the free games for September 2023 on PS Plus. This leak has now been confirmed by Sony's official announcement, which also disclosed two additional free games that PS Plus subscribers can claim in September.

Starting September 5 and until October 2, PlayStation Plus subscribers can now enjoy claiming three exciting games: Saints Row, Black Desert: Traveler Edition, and Generation Zero. What's great is that all three games are available for both PS4 and PS5 versions, allowing PS Plus subscribers to claim them regardless of their console upgrade status. Saints Row offers a thrilling open world action crime experience, while Black Desert is a beloved fantasy MMORPG originally released in 2014. Additionally, Generation Zero presents an immersive open world FPS survival game, which unfortunately received criticism from critics upon its initial release. Regrettably, the free PS Plus games for September 2023 have been met with predominantly negative feedback from fans.
