Unveiling the Hidden Path: Mastering the Journey to the Isolated Divine Tower in Elden Ring

In Elden Ring, players can find Divine Towers scattered across the Lands Between, which primarily function as locations to activate Great Runes. By defeating the six Shardbearers in the game, players can obtain the corresponding Great Runes.

While most of the Divine Towers are easily visible from a distance and can be accessed without much difficulty, the Isolated Divine Tower is unique. Unlike the others, there is no direct path leading to it. Instead, players must navigate through the majority of Leyndell in order to reach a teleporter that will transport them to the tower.

What Is At The Isolated Divine Tower?

The Isolated Divine Tower offers the same functionality as other Divine Towers. Here, players can activate a Great Rune for equipping. Upon reaching the summit of the Isolated Divine Tower and activating a nearby grace, players can ascend further to encounter a lifeless version of the Two Fingers and an inactive Great Rune known as Malenia's. Defeating Malenia at the ultimate battle of Miquella's Haligtree will lead players back to this location to activate her Great Rune.

The Great Rune belonging to Malenia is obtained later in the game compared to other Shardbearers. It is especially beneficial for players who prefer aggressive playstyles. When equipped, the Great Rune allows players to regain health by swiftly retaliating after taking damage, similar to the mechanics in Bloodborne. This ability proves advantageous for those who favor fast-paced builds and enjoy dual-wielding or utilizing quick weapons that promote close engagement with enemies. However, it holds little value for spellcasting or slow melee builds focused on heavy hits. Nevertheless, it greatly aids Dexterity players. Ensure to equip the Great Rune through the Site of Lost Grace menu once obtained and activate it using a Rune Arc.

How To Get To The Isolated Divine Tower in Elden Ring

The Isolated Divine Tower can only be accessed by using a teleporter located on top of Leyndell. However, players have the opportunity to reach this teleporter early on by using the Tower of Return in the southern Weeping Peninsula, which leads to the Site of Grace nearby. Next to a large Golem, which may be difficult to defeat at the beginning of the game, the teleporter can be found. However, it is currently inactive and can only be activated by progressing through Leyndell.

To reach the Isolated Divine Tower from the West Capital Rampart Grace, players need to head to the Fortified Manor and pass through the doorway that leads to a courtyard with two Abductor Virgins. By avoiding their ranged attacks and dodging when they begin to spin, players can make their way past these powerful constructs and reach a large elevator. Although the elevator cannot be accessed from the Isolated Tower teleporter side, players can activate it from the entrance of the Fortified Manor below. By riding the elevator up, players can unlock a shortcut between lower Leyndell and the Isolated Tower teleporter.

To access the Isolated Divine Tower, players must ride the elevator to the top, activating it in the process. If Malenia has already been defeated, reaching the tower should not pose a challenge. Once the elevator is engaged, simply approach the portal and interact with it to be transported to the distinct Divine Tower, situated far away from the other regions in the Lands Between.
