Getting to this fascinating historical site entails ascending one of the structures situated at the southern part of the Four Markets. Marketplaces can be a breeding ground for deceitful practices, which prompted the Abbasids and their officials to designate muhtasib, or inspectors, to ensure that measuring scales were accurate and goods were of good quality.

While the majority of the Observatory is equipped with anti-climbing spikes, there exist a few accessible pathways that will enable Basim to reach the roof. Prior to ascending to the viewpoint, it is essential to not overlook the historical site adjacent to all the astronomical tools. House of Wisdom
