Pokemon Scarlet and Violet's first DLC, The Teal Mask, has introduced The Teal Mask's region of Kitakami, bringing with it a variety of new and returning Pokemon to explore. Among these new additions is Dipplin, a unique caramel apple variant of the dragon-grass type Pokemon, Applin. Like its previous evolutions, evolving Applin into Dipplin requires a special item. To help you on your journey, here is all the information you need to know about evolving Applin into Dipplin in The Teal Mask.
Where to catch Applin
Find Applin in two apple orchards within Kitakami's region of The Teal Mask. These orchards offer different areas where Applin can be encountered. The larger orchard resides to the west of Mossui Town and boasts a higher population of Applin, including one with a Bug Tera type that can be found in a fixed location. Additionally, this area is where you can discover Sweet Apples and Tart Apples that are essential for evolving Applin into its other forms, Flapple and Appletun. The other, smaller orchard can be found in the southeast corner of the map, and it is here where you will locate the necessary evolution item. How to evolve Applin into Dipplin
When a Syrupy Apple is given to Applin, it undergoes a transformation and becomes Dipplin. To acquire a Syrupy Apple, head to the smaller orchard located in the southeast corner of the map. At this orchard, there is a vendor stand where the Syrupy Apples are sold for 500 bucks each. Purchase one of these apples and proceed to give it to Applin in order to trigger its evolution into Dipplin. It is worth noting that you can buy as many Syrupy Apples as you desire, but each purchase needs to be made individually.
