In Jujutsu Kaisen, Toge Inumaki has garnered a significant following due to his intricate persona and distinct abilities. Consequently, numerous devoted fans of the series expressed their desire to witness his involvement in the Shibuya arc. Although Inumaki plays a vital role alongside other sorcerers in the arc, he is not prominently featured.
In the anime, his last appearance involved assisting Yuji Itadori by eliminating several transformed individuals. However, considering the brutal nature of the Shibuya arc and the unfortunate demise of several pivotal characters, many fans now worry about the potential fate of Inumaki.
Toge Inumaki doesn't die in Jujutsu Kaisen's Shibuya arc, but he loses his left arm
Undoubtedly, the fate of Toge Inumaki in the Shibuya arc of Jujutsu Kaisen has become a source of anxiety for many devoted fans, leading them to turn to social media to ask questions like, "Will Toge Inumaki die?"
Toge Inumaki plays a vital role in the intricate storyline of Jujutsu Kaisen's Shibuya Incident Arc. Both in the anime and manga, Inumaki comes to Shibuya to assist Yuji Itadori in handling numerous mutated human beings and granting Itadori access to the Shibuya station.
Undoubtedly, dealing with a crowd of mutated humans would have posed an immense challenge for Yuji Itadori if he had been alone. However, thanks to Toge Inumaki's exceptional cursed speech technique, he was able to single-handedly control the crowd. In doing so, he cleared the path for his junior, enabling him to enter Shibuya station and provide assistance to Satoru Gojo.

Inumaki's fate in Jujutsu Kaisen's Shibuya arc is far from evading brutality. As the manga tells us, while Inumaki was focused on navigating the crowd, Sukuna engaged in a fierce battle with Mahoraga and unleashed his domain expansion. It is worth noting that Sukuna's domain, Malevolent Shrine, had the ability to sever anything within a 200m radius.
Unfortunately, Toge Inumaki and others in Shibuya found themselves within the range of Sukuna's domain. While Inumaki managed to narrowly survive, the other non-sorcerers or civilians met a gruesome demise. Subsequently, it was revealed in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga that Inumaki lost his left arm as a result of the attack.

That being said, the fact that he managed to survive Sukuna's domain, albeit barely, speaks volumes about his endurance as a Jujutsu sorcerer. Additionally, as a semi-grade 1 sorcerer, it was expected of him to withstand the Malevolent Shrine of the Curse's King.
Yet, despite the fact that Toge Inumaki is still breathing in Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen, he has yet to experience a significant spotlight since the Shibuya arc. Given his immense popularity among fans, it is highly probable that Gege Akutami will reintroduce him into the manga in a spectacular fashion in the future.
In terms of the anime, there is potential for MAPPA studios to enhance the domain expansion scene of Sukuna and provide a clear depiction of Toge Inumaki's survival from the curse's attack, although it did result in the loss of his left arm. Additionally, fans can anticipate the inclusion of original anime scenes featuring Inumaki.
However, it is worth noting that Inumaki, a semi-grade 1 sorcerer from Tokyo Jujutsu High, narrowly escaped death, while many sorcerers who were even more powerful than him tragically lost their lives during the Shibuya incident. This further emphasizes the brutal nature of the event for the Jujutsu Sorcerers.
