In episode 8 of the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War arc, titled "The Headless Star," Ichigo Kurosaki, the main character of the series, returns to the battlefield. Ichigo is considered the greatest threat to Yhwach's plans, so he is immediately attacked by a group of Quincies, starting with the Quincy ladies (except for one), who attempt to outnumber and overpower him.
Special War Powers
: Similar to how he quickly defeated the Lieutenants in the Soul Society arc, Ichigo effortlessly dispatches them, but faces difficulty in distancing himself from the overwhelming numbers as he charges towards Yhwach. It becomes apparent that Yhwach's plan relies heavily on Ichigo's return from the Royal Palace. Despite his unwavering confidence in his own abilities, Ichigo is taken aback when he sees his friend Uryū donning the enemy's uniform. This unexpected sight leaves Ichigo stunned, and he can only witness in utter horror as Yhwach, Haschwalth, and Uryū ascend to the Royal Palace. In BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8, Liltotto Meninas Candice and Giselle, Kenpachi searches the ruins for Yachiru after defeating Gremmy. While surveying the area, he accidentally steps on Yachiru's lieutenant badge and shihakusho, but Yachiru is nowhere to be found. Kenpachi sends his men to search for her, but before they can locate her, the Sternritters Liltotto, Meninas, Candice, and Giselle launch a surprise attack on the heavily injured captain. Candice, also known as Sternritter T – The Thunderbolt, unleashes powerful attacks on Kenpachi, who struggles to defend himself. Even though Kenpachi fights back, the 11th Squad members' lack of strategy makes them easy targets for Giselle, a terrifying Sternritter with the Schrift Z. The four Sternritters continue to wreak havoc on the 11th Squad, and just as they are about to finish off Kenpachi, Ichigo arrives.
The highly ambitious Quincies want to gain favour with their king, but none of them are as gutsy as Candice, who feels galvanized by her onslaught on Kenpachi and delivers the most attacks to Ichigo. Liltotto, Meninas, and Giselle also contribute to the battle, but Ichigo skillfully evades their attacks and effortlessly counterattacks with devastating force. His movements are concise but deal damage to multiple opponents simultaneously. The combat sequence between Ichigo and the Quincy ladies is both impressive and occasionally humorous as their dynamic takes center stage, resulting in comedic moments. This level of self-confidence is unparalleled for Ichigo, having come off a training arc, as he coolly informs Kenpachi that he has come to save him. The battle against the four Quincy ladies, who activate their Vollständig forms with Magical Girl-esque transformations, is intensified compared to the manga, featuring a more intense exchange between Ichigo and the quartet.

Uryu Ishida Prepares to Attack – BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8
Ichigo unveils a powerful new move - the Getsuga Jūjishō, a cross-shaped variation of his signature attack, the Getsuga Tenshō. Despite their best efforts, the four fighters find themselves clearly overmatched, even as they utilize the Quincy Sklaverei technique to forcibly absorb reishi from their surroundings. As he releases the Getsuga Jūjishō, Ichigo instructs the impulsive Candice to dodge, despite sending the attack in her direction, and even shields Giselle from an incoming strike by Liltotto that endangers them both. It's evident that Ichigo's primary objective is to halt Yhwach's plans without causing unnecessary casualties or fatalities. Engaging in combat with the formidable Number 1 Special War Power takes a toll on all four Quincies, leaving them weakened and vulnerable. Taking advantage of their weakened state, Sternritter H - The Heat, Bazz-B, employs his Burner Finger technique to unleash a devastating attack on his own allies, rendering Liltotto, Meninas, Candice, and Giselle temporarily incapacitated.
100 Minutes
: As Bazz-B joins the battle, hoping to claim the glory for himself, he is hindered by several remaining Sternritters who obstruct his path towards Yhwach. Fortunately, Rukia, Renji, Byakuya, Kyoraku, and other high-ranked Shinigami step forward to hold off the Sternritter forces, allowing their strongest fighter to confront the leader of the enemy. Surrounded by adversaries, Ichigo notices a dazzling light emanating from a tall building where Yhwach stands alongside his second-in-command and successor, filled with delight that Ichigo has returned, as it enables him to execute the next phase of his plan. As Ichigo approaches, his confidence is shattered upon witnessing Ishida's presence. When Uryū unleashes a barrage of Licht Reigen, Ichigo is taken aback, barely able to defend himself. However, Chad and Orihime emerge from the Garganta just in time to shield him from the impending attack.Episode 8: The Shakonmaku Breach in BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2
As Ichigo is greeted by Yhwach, Kurotsuchi reveals to his squad members the secrets of the Shakonmaku Membrane. This intricate barrier not only safeguards the Seireitei against invaders but also prevents individuals from aimlessly venturing to the Royal Palace. However, its complete regeneration requires a lengthy 6000 seconds. With Ichigo's sudden intrusion, a gaping hole now exposes the true sky beyond, devoid of the foreboding crimson hue that has pervaded the surroundings. The luminous radiance emanating from Yhwach's whereabouts serves as a colossal pillar of reishi, effortlessly transporting him and his comrades directly to the Royal Palace. Kyōraku and Kurotsuchi are well aware that this turn of events was not solely orchestrated by Yhwach but deliberately allowed by the Royal Guard themselves. They ingeniously crafted the attire that Ichigo wore upon his exit, utilizing their own bones and hair. Remarkably, Ichigo inadvertently granting Yhwach access to the most crucial realm within Soul Society is intricately tied to his departure from the Royal Palace while draped in the same substance that serves as its key.

Six-Point Star Yhwach – BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8
During the encounter, Yhwach stands on a building where a peculiar 6-pointed star materializes - reminiscent of the Vollständig transformation. Ichigo utilizes the Getsuga Jūjisho to intercept Candice's Electrocution, causing a massive pillar of electricity to form. The Thousand-Year Blood War arc utilizes shapes as a means of conveying the story, thus resulting in a six-pointed star when the Jūjisho collides with the column. Considering the Christian influence surrounding Yhwach, the Wandenreich, and the Sternritter, it is plausible that the star shape depicted on the building represents the IX Christogram - a combination of the Greek letters "Chi" (X), signifying Christ, and "Iota" (I), denoting Jesus, in Greek.
The term "The Headless Star" seems to allude to an incomplete rendition of this star shape; however, noteworthy connections to Sirius, the most brilliant star in the night sky, arise. Sirius is typically associated with a 5-pointed star and various cultures make associations with bows and arrows. The photograph captured by the Chandra X-ray telescope presents a spoke-like pattern featuring 5 stars, which is a result of the employed light diffraction technique. Setting visuals aside, Sirius is perceived in Chinese astrology as a harbinger of calamity - indicating an imminent invasion or war. Considering Askin Nakk Le Vaar's apprehensive soliloquy regarding a "selection," this calamity may extend beyond the realm of the Shinigami.
