JoAnna Garcia Swisher has joined the cast of Sweet Magnolias season 3 as Maddie Townsend. Maddie, a mother of three, has been facing challenges since separating from Bill, but she finds a new love interest in Cal, who is also the baseball coach for her son Tyler. Alongside her sweet Magnolias friends, Maddie opens The Corner Spa, solidifying their strong bond of friendship. However, Maddie discovers in season 2 that Cal has anger issues, resulting in their relationship facing various struggles after his arrest. Swisher, who started her career on the Nickelodeon series Are You Afraid of the Dark? as Sam, gained significant recognition for her role as Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery on Reba. She is also known for her performances as Sandy Sue in Not Another Teen Movie, Megan in The Internship, and Christy in American Pie 2. In addition to Sweet Magnolias, Swisher has made appearances on popular TV shows like How I Met Your Mother, The Mindy Project, and Once Upon a Time. Brooke Elliott As Dana Sue Sullivan
Brooke Elliot takes on the role of Dana Sue Sullivan in the cast of Sweet Magnolias season 3. Dana Sue is the talented head chef at the popular Sullivan's restaurant in Serenity. Heather Headley As Helen Decatur
Heather Headley portrays the character Helen Decatur in season 3 of Sweet Magnolias. Helen, an accomplished attorney and the final member of the friend group, finds herself in a love triangle. While she has been dating Erik Whitley, Dana Sue's sous chef, in season 2, Ryan proposes to her in the finale. As Helen contemplates motherhood and considers which partner is best for her, she faces a difficult choice. Headley, who hails from Barataria, Trinidad, is well-known both on stage and screen. Justin Bruening As Cal Maddox

Carson Rowland As Tyler Townsend
Carson Rowland has joined the cast of Sweet Magnolias season 3, taking on the role of Tyler, the eldest son of Maddie and Bill. Originally a talented baseball player, Tyler's sporting ambitions are thrown into uncertainty when he breaks his arm, leading him to question whether he wants to pursue the sport long-term. Logan Allen As Kyle Townsend
Logan Allen plays the character of Kyle Townsend in Sweet Magnolias season 3. Kyle is the middle child of Maddie and Bill, and he had a serious car accident at the end of season 1. He has a passion for theater and initially showed interest in Annie, Dana Sue's daughter. However, he is now dating Nellie. It remains to be seen how Kyle will react to his brother's interest in his ex-girlfriend in season 3.
Logan Allen, who was born and raised in central Florida, made his screen debut in the 2014 short film Birthday Boy as a classmate. He later gained recognition for his role as Kevin Ryan in Bernie and the Dolphin. Allen reprised the role of Kevin in Bernie and the Dolphin 2. He has also appeared as Harold in "The Companion" segment of the horror series Creepshow and had a small arc as cousin Vinnie in Talia in the Kitchen. Anneliese Judge As Annie Sullivan
Anneliese Judge portrays Annie Sullivan, the teenage daughter of Ronnie and Dana Sue, in the cast of Sweet Magnolias season 3. In the series, Annie is a talented photographer who finds herself entangled in a complex relationship with the Townsend brothers. Although she initially kissed Tyler, she eventually starts dating Jackson, the son of the mayor. However, amidst Kyle developing feelings for her and the mayor's disapproval of the Sweet Magnolias, Annie faces immense pressure in season 3. Originally from Pinehurst, North Carolina, Judge's breakthrough role came with Sweet Magnolias, having previously portrayed Jessica in Where's Rose. Noreen Fitzgibbons, played by Jamie Lynn Spears, returns in the cast of Sweet Magnolias season 3. Initially portrayed as Bill's mistress, Noreen now takes on the role of his child's mother. Spears gained popularity through her leading role in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101 but has also showcased her talent in Miss Guided, All That, and Crossroads.
