Unveiling PS Plus Premium's Epic August 2023 Lineup, Featuring Platinum Trophies Galore!

This month, players have the opportunity to earn a Platinum Trophy for MediEvil: Resurrection, Ape Escape: On the Loose, and Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice.

PS Plus Premium subscribers can also take advantage of time-limited trials, allowing them to play popular games such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition and God of War Ragnarok for a specific number of hours, at no extra cost.

This month, PlayStation Plus Premium members will have access to three new classic games, all of which come with Platinum trophies. Unlike Extra tier gamers, Premium users enjoy additional benefits such as being able to play select PS1, PS2, and PSP games without any additional charges. Additionally, Premium members can also access a larger library of games by playing PS3 titles through online streaming.

Sony recently revealed the lineup of games that will be added to both PS Plus Extra and Premium in August 2023. A total of 17 titles will be included, and Extra members can enjoy games like Lost Judgment, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, Cursed to Golf, Sea of Stars, Moving Out 2, and more at no extra cost. On the other hand, Premium users will have the opportunity to play MediEvil: Resurrection, Ape Escape: On the Loose, and Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice. It has now been confirmed that players will be able to earn Platinum trophies in all three games available to PS Plus Premium this month.

As per a report by Push Square, Exophase has revealed that MediEvil: Resurrection, Ape Escape: On the Loose, and Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice offer a Platinum trophy. Therefore, PS Plus Premium subscribers interested in these games will have the opportunity to boost their trophy count upon release. Ape Escape: On the Loose provides 24 trophies, Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice offers 31 trophies, and MediEvil: Resurrection allows players to earn 40 trophies.

PS Plus Premium members have access to numerous classic games that come with trophy support. This trend of adding trophy support is expected to continue, as Sony regularly adds new games to the collection each month. Furthermore, Sony also adds trophies to titles even after their release on PS Plus, as seen with the update of Super Stardust Portable in 2023.

In addition to the classic titles, PS Plus Premium subscribers can enjoy time-limited trials, which allow them to play certain games for a specific number of hours. The duration of these trials varies, with some games offering up to five hours of gameplay while others only allow one hour. This exclusive feature enables PS Plus Premium members to try out highly acclaimed games such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition and God of War Ragnarok without any additional cost.
