A second Ancient Poké Ball has made its debut in Pokémon Horizons, mirroring the one that Roy used to unleash the elusive Black Rayquaza. With the first ball housing a dazzling Legendary Pokémon, the possibilities for the contents of the second ball are boundless, leaving fans to speculate on the potential presence of an extraordinary and exceedingly rare Pokémon.
Roy's grandfather had given him an Ancient Poké Ball, but they both believed it to be empty and non-functional. However, by pure accident, Roy managed to release Rayquaza from the ball. Shortly after its release, Rayquaza flew off to other lands. It was highly unlikely for another one of these rare balls to appear, especially in Paldea. Surprisingly, in episode #11 of Pokémon Horizons, Roy notices a second Ancient Poké Ball hanging around the neck of the enormous Arboliva, the same area where the sighting of the Black Rayquaza had occurred recently.
What's in the Second Ancient Poké Ball?
As soon as it was released, the Black Rayquaza embarked on its journey towards Paldea. It appears that the presence of another Ancient Poké Ball is the driving force behind its actions. However, the knowledge of how it became aware of the ball and its reasons for being concerned with it remain a mystery. According to legends, the Ancient Poké Ball once belonged to a renowned adventurer, suggesting that there could potentially be six of them scattered across the world, with four still waiting to be discovered. It is possible that these Ancient Poké Balls were intentionally left behind by the adventurer as treasures for future explorers to find. If this is indeed the case, then it is highly likely that the other balls contain Pokémon that are equally rare, if not more so, than the Black Rayquaza.
At this point, the second Ancient Poké Ball holds a world of possibilities. It is highly likely that these balls house incredibly rare Pokémon, but rarity is a subjective concept, and few creatures can compare to the exceptional rarity of Black Rayquaza. It is plausible to consider that Hoenn's other Legendary Pokémon, Kyogre and Groudon, may also reside within Ancient Poké Balls, as they, along with Rayquaza, form the renowned Super-Ancient trio. Additionally, there may be unique Pokémon from various regions, serving as a testament to the adventurer's extensive travels. Moreover, there remains the thrilling possibility of encountering a never-before-seen Pokémon, much like the one found in Liko's pendant.
Pokémon Horizons Will Reveal Some Of The Rarest Pokémon In The World
Although Roy has yet to obtain the second Ancient Poké Ball, the preview for episode #12 revealed him in possession of it, indicating that he will acquire it soon. It is possible that Roy will exercise caution with this particular Poké Ball and refrain from opening it, reserving it for a future dire situation. If this is the case, the mystery surrounding its contents will prolong, adding an additional layer of intrigue to Pokémon Horizons. This new series will undoubtedly become even more captivating and captivating with the revelation of what lies within the second Ancient Poké Ball.
