Francois suggests using Perseus’s equipment for bidirectional calls, leading to a discovery of the trashed equipment. Undeterred, they revive the remaining petrified individuals and work together to make repairs. Senku chooses to revive Kirisame, who reveals the whereabouts of Ginro and Kohaku. After being saved, the celebrations continue.

In Dr. Stone season 3 episode 20, Senku was able to contact Ruri using the repaired communication device. Ruri disclosed that she had also been receiving strange transmissions. However, their conversation was interrupted by a foreboding message from Why-Man, which said “twelve million eight hundred thousand meters and one second.” Senku quickly realized that this was the Earth’s diameter, leading everyone to believe that Why-Man planned to use the petrification device to turn humans to stone once again.
In response, Senku instructed Kohaku to keep the petrification device safely away from the speaker. Interestingly, Ukyo pointed out that Why-Man's message was being delivered by a synthetic replication of Senku's voice, but the motive behind this remained unknown.
Senku’s next destination

In episode 20 of Dr. Stone season 3, Matsukaze, a man who had been encased in stone for centuries, is brought back to life. He reveals a tattoo of the petrification device on his arm and explains that he and his fellow villagers were turned to stone when multiple petrification devices fell from the sky.

In the previous chapter, viewers witnessed Ibara's shock as he discovered that Senku was alive and no longer petrified. A flashback then revealed that Senku had calculated the speed and direction of the petrification beam, allowing him to un-petrify himself by timing the application of the revival fluid perfectly.
Although Senku managed to obtain the petrification device, Ibara took advantage of the situation and stabbed him to reclaim it. Senku fought back by throwing acid vials from nearby trees, but Ibara skillfully avoided them. However, Senku also threw some revival fluid at Ryusui, who then used a drone to grab the device.
Ibara, refusing to give up easily, persisted in the fight for the device. In the midst of this, Ryusui was petrified once more and broke into pieces. However, he was able to attach the communication earring to the device before being turned to stone. Senku activated the device through the earring and successfully petrified Ibara.
Following their triumph, Senku experienced a feeling of loneliness that night. However, a call from Ruri and the others at Ishigami Village on his cell phone made him feel less alone as she inquired about the situation on Treasure Island.
