Unique Bosses in the Hawezar Map
The Hawezar Map features a collection of distinct bosses that bring a unique challenge. Serving as the ultimate zone in Diablo 4, it encompasses Act 5 and 6, remaining static until players reach approximately level 40. Hawezar comprises three distinct regions: the treacherous dunes of the south, the vibrant jungles in the northwest, and the enchanting Hawezar Swamp in the northeast, which is inhabited by the mystical Tree of Whispers.
Zarbinzet serves as the primary central area in this zone, conveniently situated right alongside the World Boss arena. As players progress towards Hawezar, the conclusion of Diablo 4 draws near, but they will become intimately acquainted with the Hawezar map thanks to the Whisper Cache system. However, there is much more to do to fully explore and achieve thorough completion of the Hawezar Map, extending beyond the swamp and its numerous enigmas.
All Altars of Lilith in Hawezar
Collecting Altars of Lilith is crucial as they provide players with a substantial power boost, even if the incremental bonuses may not appear significant at first glance. By obtaining all 160 Altars of Lilith in Diablo 4, players can permanently enhance their main stats, Paragon Points, and Max Obols across all characters. Once discovered, these Altars do not require rediscovery, and alternate characters will benefit from the stat enhancements starting from Level 1.
The total number of Altars of Lilith in Hawezar is 34. Among all the maps in Diablo 4, the Hawezar Map is likely to have the most evenly distributed Altars. There isn't really a "fastest" way to gather all these Altars, except starting from either entrance and systematically navigating around the map. It's advised to avoid the northwestern stretch, as it does not contain any Altars.
Hawezar Map Dungeon Locations
Diablo 4 introduces a departure from previous Diablo games with its unique approach to dungeons. Gone are the days of fully-randomized layouts and the need to descend through levels with loading screens to access different areas within a dungeon. Instead, each dungeon offers a specific objective, distinct enemy types, and a semi-randomized layout. Despite these changes, dungeons remain a crucial aspect of the game as they serve as vital side objectives. This significance is amplified by Nightmare Dungeons that are closely linked to Glyphs and the valuable Aspects that players receive upon their initial completion.
There are a total of 23 side Dungeons in Hawezar, and fortunately, many of them are conveniently grouped together. At the Ruins of Rakhat Keep, located right in the center of the map, players will discover three side Dungeons situated adjacent to each other. This same pattern can be observed just south of the Crusader's Monument. Additionally, to the west of Zarbinzet, there exists a cluster of five or six side Dungeons, providing a convenient opportunity for easy Aspect collection.
All Strongholds In The Hawezar Map
In Diablo 4, every area map is populated with three Strongholds, neither more nor less. Along with bestowing a portion of Renown and frequently a Waypoint, some Dungeons become accessible only after toppling the associated Stronghold. It is advisable to tackle Strongholds in World Tier 4 since they can only be completed once (for the time being). This is because World Tier 4 imposes a mandatory +2 level difference, resulting in increased experience points.
The Strongholds in Hawezar include the Crusader's Monument to the west, Eriman's Pyre in the northwest, and Vyeresz in the south. To access the Bastion of Faith, completing the Crusader's Monument is necessary. Similarly, to access the Oblivion dungeon, Eriman's Pyre must be beaten. Lastly, completing Vyeresz is required to access the Shadowed Plunge.
Where To Find Every Hawezar Waypoint
In Diablo 4, players should prioritize waypoints when navigating the five zones. These waypoints greatly enhance travel within Estuar, significantly expediting movement. Moreover, they provide a notable boost to Renown, tallying up to 20 each.
Hawezar Cellar Locations
In Hawezar, there are only six Waypoints, compared to the larger number found in Kehjistan, the Fractured Peaks, Scosglen, or Dry Steppes. These Waypoints are evenly spread throughout the entire zone, making it a wise strategy to prioritize reaching these Waypoints first in order to efficiently complete the map in Hawezar. In Diablo 4, Cellars punctuate the landscape of Sanctuary, offering players short and thrilling side adventures. These one-room encounters typically entail defeating hordes of enemies to claim a regular Chest as a reward. However, the contents and challenges found within a Cellar can vary to some extent, introducing an element of surprise. Additionally, players may stumble upon events that yield Mastery rewards, or even encounter elusive spawns like Treasure Goblins instead of a typical battle.
There are 29 Cellars in Hawezar, with the majority located within a short distance from the coastline running along the southern and eastern borders. Starting from the entrance in Kehjistan, it is advisable to head east while maintaining a distance of about one screen from the coastline until reaching Backwater. This route will uncover the majority of the cellars. Afterwards, proceed north, navigating through the Swamp with a zig-zag pattern, and finally head west to conclude near the entrance to the Fractured Peaks.
World Boss Arena Location in Hawezar
World Bosses in Diablo 4 can spawn in five different areas, corresponding to the game's major zones. These bosses, namely Ashava the Pestilent, Avarice the Gold-Cursed, and Wandering Death, emerge approximately every six to seven hours in real-time at one of these designated locations. The game highlights the upcoming spawn location about 30 minutes prior. Players aiming to obtain the weekly Grand Cache by defeating all three bosses are advised to join the official Diablo 4 Discord for spawn notifications. Alternatively, utilizing third-party trackers like Helltides.com or Diablo4.life can also be useful for monitoring spawn times.
Among these areas, the World Boss location in Hawezar is particularly convenient and easily accessible. Situated southeast of Zarbinzet, it is known as the Fields of Desecration. This location offers additional side content, including the Altar of Lilith and Cellars, allowing players to complete the Hawezar map. Additionally, it serves as a great starting point for exploring the Altars of Lilith and Cellars in Hawezar.
Unique Bosses In Hawezar Map
Each map in Diablo 4 contains four elite bosses, each with their own distinct name and backstory that signifies their regional significance. These bosses, similar to other elites, will consistently spawn in specific areas and drop the same loot. Unlike most Rares in Diablo 4, their Rare item drops come with flavor text and have fixed stat modifiers. When combined with favorable rolls, these items can serve as ideal bases for Aspect imprinting. The four unique bosses found in Hawezar are Enkil in the northeastern Rotspill Delta, Captain Willcocks in the Blightmarsh, the Trembling Mass in the central Fethis Wetlands, and Renn Dayne in the northwestern Dismal Foothills.
