The Aspect of Disobedience in Diablo 4 is a highly effective defensive choice for players. Even with a low roll, it greatly enhances a character's ability to survive in the endgame. When paired with other Legendary Aspects, it can also prevent many players from untimely deaths. Obtaining this powerful defensive capability is crucial for building a successful late-game character in Diablo 4, and all players, particularly those on hardcore difficulty, should strive to acquire it as soon as possible. Here's a guide on obtaining the Legendary Aspect.

Diablo 4: Aspect of Disobedience Location

Unveiling Diablo 4's Coveted Aspect of Disobedience: A Comprehensive Guide

The Aspect of Disobedience can be obtained on a legendary armor piece or unlocked in the Codex of Power by completing the Halls of the Damned in Kehjistan. The dungeon is located near the Tarsarak waypoint, at the border of Kehjistan and Hawezar.

The Halls of the Damned is a straightforward dungeon, requiring no clearance of Strongholds or completion of side quests. Simply approach the entrance and begin eliminating the enemies inside. Inside the dungeon, players can expect to encounter ghosts, skeletons, human cultists, and their summoned demons.

How Does the Aspect of Disobedience Work?

Defeat the Overseer and the Seaborn Goddess idols located in the first half of the map, and then proceed to the Sepulchrum where a fierce battle against the Tomb Lord awaits. Be wary of the necrotic energy clouds unleashed by this boss, as they have the power to Daze any player within their reach. Additionally, the Tomb Lord will attack with magic bolts, perform sweeping area-of-effect attacks, and summon explosive bone walls that can cause severe damage if not evaded.

Dealing damage to an enemy while equipped with the Aspect of Disobedience grants the user a stacking Armor buff. This buff gradually increases with each attack, reaching a maximum of 50% based on the player's roll. By default, the Codex of Power roll will only reach a cap of 25%, unless it is imprinted onto an amulet. However, if the roll on the amulet is at its maximum, the armor buff can soar as high as 75%.

The Aspect of Disobedience increases Armor whenever players inflict damage on an enemy. This encompasses DoT effects like bleeding, poison, and burning. By using an AOE skill on a group of monsters, players can easily gather enough stacks to maximize the Aspect's benefits.

Armor mitigates the damage players suffer from both physical and magical attacks. However, its effectiveness against magical damage is only half as potent as its defense against physical attacks.

Diablo 4 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
