Unveiling Diablo 4's 28 Altars of Lilith in Fractured Peaks

Players exploring the world of Sanctuary in Diablo 4 can embark on an epic journey filled with exciting quests and battles against formidable foes such as the World Boss, Ashava. Among the new features introduced in this title are the Altars of Lilith, which can provide stat boosts, increase maximum life, and even raise the number of obols a player can carry. As these crucial structures are not marked on the map, players will want to know the locations and powers of all 28 Altars in the Fractured Peaks area.

What Do Altars of Lilith Do in Diablo 4?

Upon interacting with an Altar of Lilith in Diablo 4, players can expect a range of benefits. These Altars offer account-wide buffs, Renown, experience, and other advantages. Upon discovering an Altar, characters receive a five Renown boost and an experience boost. However, players must complete a challenge to earn a one-time, account-wide buff to one stat.

In this RPG, each Altar offers a unique buff.

+8 to Max HP +2 Strength +2 Dexterity +2 Willpower +2 Intelligence +5 to the total number of obols a character can hold.

Diablo 4: Altar of Lilith Locations in Fractured Peaks

Altar of Lilith 1: Icehowl Taiga

Within the Fractured Peaks region of Diablo 4's expansive open-world, players can discover a total of 28 unique Altars. Each of these Altars offers a specific stat boost for all players who interact with it, providing a clear understanding of the benefits before approaching.

This Altar is located in the starting area of Diablo 4's massive map.

Reward: +2 Dexterity

Altar of Lilith 2: Southeast Foothills

Search around the cemetery for a small platform that serves as a jump point in Diablo 4. This will lead you to the Altar.

As a reward for activating the Altar, players can now hold an additional five Murmuring Obols. These Obols are utilized as currency for purchasing from the Curiosities vendor. Initially, players can carry 500 of these Obols, but each Altar that provides this buff will increase their carrying capacity by 5.

Altar of Lilith 3: Tsepilova Pond

Find this Altar on the way to mines for Diablo 4's main story quest along the north end of the pond.

Reward: +2 Willpower

Altar of Lilith 4: Icehowl Taiga

Players will have to return to the starting area later in the game, as this Altar is not accessible when players first pass through.

Reward: +2 Strength

Altar of Lilith 5: The Brinewood

This Altar of Lilith, the evil plaguing the video game world of Diablo 4, is out of the way and hidden behind some trees, so players must keep their eyes peeled.

Reward: Can now carry five additional Murmuring Obols.

Altar of Lilith 6: Noastrava

In order to reach this Altar of Lilith in Diablo 4, players must first complete most of the Diablo 4 dungeon called Stronghold Nostrava.

Reward: +2 Intelligence

Altar of Lilith 7: Trekker's Nook

This remote Altar of Lilith is located in a secluded area with very little else around it, making it unlikely for players to stumble upon it unless they are actively searching for Altars.

Reward: +2 Intelligence

Altar of Lilith 8: Shadow Trail

Look to the south of Margrave for this Altar.

Reward: +2 Willpower

Altar of Lilith 9: Western Tunnels

If players missed this one while doing quests in the caves, this Altar is very close to the Margrave waypoint.

Reward: +2 Strength

Altar of Lilith 10: Melnik's Hill

This Altar is located inside the house on Melnik's Hill, so players will need to explore the building there.

Reward: +2 Willpower

Altar of Lilith 11: Zeleny Lowlands

This Altar is on the beaten path near a traversal spot along the route from Gail Valley to the Frigid Expanse.

Reward: +2 Dexterity

Altar of Lilith 12: Shivering Wilds

This Altar of Lilith should be pretty obvious; the glow of it should be visible from the frozen river.

Reward: +2 Willpower

Altar of Lilith 13: Shivering Wilds

This one is located in a dead end in the Wilds, so players must explore the area thoroughly to come across this one.

Reward: +5 Max Obols

Altar of Lilith 14: Malnok

This Altar is located in the Stronghold of Malnok; there is a house with unbreakable icicles in front of the door. These will break as soon as players complete the Stronghold.

Reward: +2 Strength

Altar of Lilith 15: Western Ways

Look just northwest of the Menestad Waypoint to find this Altar.

Reward: +5 Max Obols

Altar of Lilith 16: Western Ways

Just west of the Forbidden City dungeon on a little hillside is nestled this Altar of Lilith. Look for its red glow.

Reward: +2 Strength

Altar of Lilith 17: The Deep White

Look for a cliff outcropping to the northeast of the Forsaken Quarry dungeon.

Reward: +2 Dexterity

Altar of Lilith 18: Olyam Tundra

There is a narrow mountain path to the southeast of the Black Asylum dungeon that leads to this Altar.

Reward: +2 Strength

Altar of Lilith 19: Serac Rapture

When players leave the monastery at Kor Valar, they must head southeast along the cliff's edge.

Reward: +2 Strength

Altar of Lilith 20: Eastern Pass

This Diablo 4 Altar is directly east of the hut where players will first meet with Lorath.

Reward: +2 Dexterity

Altar of Lilith 21: Father's Cross

Head out of the main city of Kyovashad and head towards the Event hotspot; the Altar will be nearby in this story-heavy Blizzard title.

Reward: +2 Intelligence

Altar of Lilith 22: Western Ways

Follow the road southeast out of Menestad; look along the road's edges.

Reward: +2 Willpower

Altar of Lilith 23: The Brinewood

The Altar of Lilith in Diablo 4 is situated in a secluded location within the vast open world, making it difficult for players to stumble upon it if they are not actively searching for it.

Reward: +2 Dexterity

Altar of Lilith 24: Kor Dragan: Courtyard

This Altar is located inside the Stronghold of Kor Dragan, but players don't have to complete the dungeon in order to get it.

Reward: +2 Willpower

Altar of Lilith 25: Crags of Ill Wind

Follow the slope down from the Forsaken Quarry to find this well-hidden Altar.

Reward: +2 Intelligence

Altar of Lilith 26: Olyam Tundra

Hop down the traversal point heading southeast out of Forsaken Quarry to find this hidden gem.

Reward: +2 Intelligence

Altar of Lilith 27: Fields of Judgment

Located near the Bear Tribe Refuge waypoint, this Altar can be found on the side of the mountain towards the southeast. Although players cannot physically approach it, they can still interact with it from a close distance.

Reward: +2 Intelligence

Altar of Lilith 28: Sinner's Pass

Head directly north from the Hoarfrost Demise dungeon, and this one will be along the edge of the cliffs there.

Reward: +2 Dexterity

This is the last of the Altars of Lilith available in the Fractured Peaks. Other locations will also be filled with these altars, as will any new Diablo 4 DLC areas.
