Following a recent update in August for Diablo 4, Blizzard is already gearing up for another patch scheduled to release on August 15th. This upcoming update mainly focuses on fixing various bugs and addressing issues related to the UI, quest and progression, and special problems specific to the Druid class. Additionally, the patch also reduces the wait time for Malignant Monsters to spawn after activating a Malignant Heart from 5 seconds to just 2 seconds. By default, players will now be automatically included in the Trade Channel, although they do have the option to opt out through the in-game settings.

Update 1.1.2. has resolved a frustrating issue for many fans by addressing the "A Boon in the Tide" journey objective, which was a significant seasonal progression blocker. Some Diablo 4 fans were unable to proceed in their Seasonal Journey due to a bug that prevented the completion of the challenge when opening a Helltide Chest. Blizzard president Mike Ybarra confirmed that this bug would be fixed in August, and fortunately, this update has provided the solution for those affected.

In addition, many fans are eagerly anticipating a future update that will bring significant changes for multiplayer. The spawn time for a Malignant Monster has been decreased from 5 to 2 seconds after activating a Malignant Heart in the game world.

Dungeons and Events

Fixed a bug that allowed Nightmare Dungeons to be replayed when a different party member was promoted as the leader.

Resolved an issue where the advancement of the Gathering Legions event could cease despite the fact that all nearby enemies had been defeated.

Druid

Fixed an issue where Boulders cast with the Aspect of Metamorphic Stone equipped would not deal more than 100% damage.

The issue with the Agitated Winds malignant power triggering when breaking destructible objects has been resolved.

The problem with the Aspect of the Alpha Werewolf companions floating above the ground has been fixed.

Quests

Fixed an issue where the Fury Against Fate quest couldn't be completed.

Addressed a problem where players could acquire an infinite amount of Iron Skin Elixirs by continuously accepting and abandoning the Desperate Remedies quest.

Resolved an issue where the progression of the Call of the Ancients quest would halt if the party leader was deceased at the time of defeating the boss.

The issue with the Call of the Ancients quest not progressing when Gharl was killed before triggering his dialogue has been resolved.

Resolved the issue where side quests for crafting items could incorrectly direct the player to the wrong NPC.

User Interface and User Experience

Fixed an issue where white lines were appearing on the World Map.

Corrected a bug in which the Season Journey menu could experience malfunctions upon completing a chapter.

Addressed a bug where the notification for the appearance of the World Boss would malfunction if the player had not yet unlocked Whispers of the Dead.

Improved the item link display in the Battle.net app, resolving an issue.

Resolved an issue where the quest marker for Holding Back the Flood would be visible on Dungeon exits but not on the world map.

The tooltips for the Caged Heart of Tal'Rasha and Caged Heart of the Great Feast now accurately state that their bonuses are added together rather than multiplied.

The tooltip for the Caged Heart of Determination has been revised to clarify that it specifically reduces resource draining effects caused by enemies.

Miscellaneous

Fixed an issue where the A Boon in the Tide Season Journey objective could not be completed as expected.

- Addressed the problem allowing players to teleport to Dungeon entrances while utilizing skills that provide invincibility (e.g. Blood Mist).

- Resolved the problem of certain interactable objects, specifically corpses, being unresponsive to interaction.

Fixed an issue where mount skills were sometimes not available after leaving a city.

Fixed an issue where the Calculated malignant power would consume the stun effect on non-damaging abilities.

Corrected a problem that prevented Druids, Necromancers, and Rogues from participating in helm gambling with the Unsavory Oddities vendor located in Fields of Hatred towns.

Rectified the problem that disallowed the replacement of an equipped Wrathful Heart with another Wrathful Heart.

Fixed an issue where the frost effect of the Penitent Greaves didn't display properly in the final campaign boss arena.
