Blizzard has confirmed details about the upcoming seasonal battle pass in Overwatch 2, revealing that Ana will receive a new Mythic-tier skin in Season 6. This season will coincide with the Invasion update, which includes the introduction of the game's PvE mode with three co-operative missions against Null Sector forces worldwide.

Since its reveal during the Xbox showcase in June, Overwatch 2's Invasion update has generated speculation and excitement for the game's future. However, the community's hype for the PvE mode was dampened by previous announcements about cut features. In addition to the PvE content, the Invasion update will also introduce a new PvP game mode called Flashpoint.

In line with previous seasons, Season 6 will introduce an 80-tier battle pass featuring a range of new cosmetic items, including the next Mythic skin.

The rarest tier of items in Overwatch 2 are these fully-customizable skins. They have only been released for a limited number of heroes so far. In a blog post, Blizzard has confirmed that Ana will receive a new Mythic skin in Season 6. Additionally, Cassidy and Kiriko will each have their own exclusive Null Sector-themed skin. It appears that the two Legendary skins will not be part of the season's battle pass. Instead, they will be available as part of the Ultimate Invasion bundle. This bundle grants permanent access to Invasion's PvE story missions, the premium battle pass, 2,000 Overwatch Coins, and 20 free battle pass tier skips. As of now, none of the skins have been revealed.

Some Overwatch 2 fans have already seen these new skins, as Blizzard president Mike Ybarra tweeted a deleted image of Overwatch 2: Invasion key art featuring what fans believe to be the mentioned skins. Despite its deletion, the image can still be found online.

The Mythic skins in Overwatch 2 have been well-received by fans, with Genji, Junker Queen, Kiriko, Sigma, and Tracer currently having their own Mythic skins. Additionally, creative Overwatch 2 fans have shared their own concept designs, showcasing the potential for even more elaborate Mythic skins. This has left many players eagerly anticipating Blizzard's future direction for these cosmetics.
