Untitled Goose Game Developer Unveils New Cooperative Journey, Grand Stroll

Embark on an exhilarating multiplayer escapade with House House's latest creation, Big Walk Join forces with friends and immerse yourselves in a thrilling adventure like no other

The studio House House, best known for Untitled Goose Game, has announced their latest project: a multiplayer game titled Big Walk. The trailer premiered at The Game Awards, offering a peek at Big Walk's colorful and immersive world, where ant-like characters team up to explore a blend of realistic and whimsical environments. The game promises an opportunity for players to "hang out and get lost with close friends in a big world," according to the Big Walk website.

Once again collaborating with publisher Panic, House House has also credited a talented team of collaborators for their efforts in bringing Big Walk to life. This includes 3D artist Kalonica, sound designers Em Audible and Nicholas Zhang, and Melbourne artist Ara Koufax, who is responsible for the game's music.

House House's latest game, Big Walk, appears to draw more heavily on Australian themes. The trailer features the sounds of Australian bird calls, and the characters speak with Australian accents--a departure from their previous game, Untitled Goose Game, which was set in an English village.

Big Walk is currently available for wishlist on Steam, with a planned release date in 2025.

Big Walk was revealed as part of The Game Awards. For more from the Awards, check out our list of all the winners that have been announced so far.

Editor's P/S

As a Gen Z fan, I am thrilled about the announcement of Big Walk, the new cooperative journey from House House, the developer behind the beloved Untitled Goose Game. The trailer showcased at The Game Awards gave a glimpse into the game's vibrant and captivating world, filled with ant-like characters embarking on an adventure through diverse environments. The promise of "hanging out and getting lost with close friends in a big world" resonates deeply with me and my generation, who value meaningful social interactions and immersive experiences.

The Australian influences in Big Walk, such as the bird calls and character accents, add a unique cultural flavor to the game. This departure from the English setting of Untitled Goose Game demonstrates House House's commitment to creating diverse and authentic worlds. The game's 2025 release date may seem distant, but the anticipation and excitement among Gen Z fans like myself will undoubtedly make the wait worthwhile.
