Unsealed documents from a lawsuit connected to accused sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein were publicly released on Wednesday, revealing nearly 200 names including accusers, prominent businesspeople, and politicians. This is the first set of documents to be unsealed as part of a December 18 court order, with more expected to follow.
CNN is currently in the process of evaluating the documents, which are filings related to a resolved case involving Virginia Roberts Giuffre, an American woman who alleged that Epstein sexually abused her when she was a minor, and that Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's former girlfriend, was involved in the abuse.
The newly unsealed documents include such filings as depositions from Maxwell and Giuffre.
