The desolate, demon-ridden highlands of Scosglen in Diablo 4 harbor numerous tales featuring the Druids and their inhabitants. While none of these stories evoke heartfelt warmth, they provide insight into the challenging lives of the people in this corner of Sanctuary following Malthael's assault in Reaper of Souls and Lilith's resurgence in the main campaign.
In the frigid expanse near the fishing village of Marowen, adventurers will come across a solitary woman standing by a hut, surrounded by lifeless children. Engaging with her initiates a series of events that swiftly lead to A Sodden Pact, a brief secondary quest in Diablo 4 that compels players to comb the northern shores of Scosglen in pursuit of a wight.
Diablo 4 Sodden Pact Guide: All Sodden Growth Locations
This quest commences once players complete Whispers From Below, the initial part of this quest chain assigned by Roina. Located directly east of the Marowen Waypoint in Scosglen, players simply need to locate another NPC in proximity to the quest's starting point to initiate A Sodden Pact.
In the Sodden Pact quest, players must collaborate with Roina to lure out and eliminate a wight that has been causing terror among the villagers. To coax the creature into the open, players must acquire 5 Wight Hairs, all of which are obtained from Sodden Growths scattered throughout the quest area.
Discovering these growths can be a bit frustrating, especially due to their ability to seamlessly blend into the surroundings. Additionally, the area marked in blue is of considerable size. Referencing the aforementioned map will save players a few precious minutes. Keep in mind that the appearance of the Sodden Growths may be randomized, so it is advisable to check all the designated areas provided on the map, ensuring none go unnoticed.
Players have reported issues with the Sodden Pact quest, specifically with the spawning of certain growths. If a Sodden Growth cannot be found in any of the possible locations on the map, it is recommended to thoroughly search the rest of the objective area. If players are absolutely certain that there are no more Sodden Growths, it is advised to abandon the quest without any consequences and obtain it again from Roina. Restarting the game before attempting this may also be beneficial.
Upon completing the Sodden Pact quest, players will be rewarded with an Elixir cache, gold and EXP, Renown, and gain access to the remaining quests in this chain.
Diablo 4 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
