The Traveler's Superstition is a side quest in Diablo 4 that offers a significant amount of experience points for a minimal time investment. While it may be situated in a remote location, players will find the rewards to be worth the journey. However, for those unfamiliar with similar side quests like Keeping the Old Traditions and The Pilgrim's Footsteps, knowing what to do can be unclear. This guide will provide players with the precise location of the side quest and offer strategies to complete it efficiently.
The Traveler's Superstition Side Quest Walkthrough
The Traveler's Superstition side quest in Diablo 4 is situated in the Rotspill Delta area of the Hawezar zone. It can be found on the east coast of the map, near a group of wrecked ships. The closest waypoints for travel are the Tree of Whispers waypoint to the north or the Backwater waypoint to the south. The Tree of Whispers waypoint will be encountered during the game's campaign, while the latter can only be accessed once players have cleared a Stronghold.
To initiate the quest, players need to interact with the Hastily Scrawled Note located beneath a rock next to a colossal statue of a woman. The note contains the following message: "Show her respect, and she will guide you safely on your journey. Ignore her, and suffer the same fate as these unfortunate souls."
Thankfully, players do not have to venture far to embark on the side quest. With the Hastily Scrawled Note mentioning the massive statue nearby, all players need to do is express themselves in front of the statue to successfully accomplish the side quest.
When in front of the statue, show respect by using the Hello emote instead of ignoring it. Players can access the emote wheel by pressing Up on the D-pad or E on the keyboard, and selecting the Hello emote. The Hello emote is already equipped in one of the three emote wheels, but players can customize its placement manually.
Completing the Traveler's Superstition side quest will result in a spawned chest next to the statue. Players will receive experience points, gold, +20 Hawezar Renown, and two random elixirs as rewards.
Diablo 4 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
