Don't miss the intense post-credits scene in Invincible Season 2 Episode 2! Here's a breakdown of what happens. In our review of this episode, we described it as a true showcase of the power of animation. The visuals are limitless and provide delightful and whimsical moments while still maintaining a strong emotional impact.
In just 45 minutes, it encompasses a myriad of events: Mark's rematch with Doc Seismic, his high school graduation, a perilous encounter with Darkwing II in a cursed city, his journey to Las Vegas with Amber, a visit to Atlantis, a harrowing trial-by-combat against the Death-Dweller, a heroic act of saving the queen, and finally returning home to find his mother devastated on the kitchen floor. Remarkably, not a single appearance is made by Angstrom Levy, and the new antagonist is not even mentioned until the post-credits scene.

The scene after the credits starts at the Pentagon, where soldiers are attempting to access a room containing Mark. He has been restrained, with his arms, legs, and body securely fastened within large metal beams.
"Why should I tell you anything? And who the hell are you?" Mark questions.
"Consider me an old acquaintance... someone who can assist you in your present situation," Levy, now donning a black cloak, reveals.
"Okay," Mark replies, signaling a shift into a parallel universe where he had actually agreed to join forces with Omni-Man to conquer Earth.
"They were cunning. Upon receiving our ultimatum, they orchestrated a surprise attack on my father using experimental quantum bombs. It did, however, result in significant losses in Europe," he reveals with a malevolent chuckle. With his father no longer alive, they tirelessly wore him down until they ultimately captured him when he could no longer evade sleep.
Shortly after, Levy is approached by the female iterations of Cecil and Donald from this parallel universe. They inquire about his identity, to which he responds, "I am not the one troubling you... hold him accountable for the destruction he caused in your realm," he remarks defiantly, as he takes a step into a shimmering green portal.
"You assured me of your aid. Please! Do not abandon me in this forsaken place," he implores with intense anger.
Levy is clearly traversing multiple timelines to gather information on Mark Grayson. While it initially appears that he is performing a noble act by imprisoning an evil Invincible, there is uncertainty regarding his intentions upon encountering our Mark. Will he eliminate him, exploit him to eliminate countless versions of himself across the multiverse, or possibly recruit him as an ally? The latter scenario seems unlikely, considering Levy's vow for revenge and desire to make Mark pay.
Additionally, should we not dwell on the fact that Omni-Man was killed by technology created on Earth? Mark has yet to reunite with his father in the main timeline, sparking curiosity about a significant clue regarding Nolan's fate in future episodes. What if this death becomes an established event in the series?

As a Gen Z netizen, I have mixed feelings about the post-credits scene in Invincible Season 2 Episode 2. On the one hand, I'm excited to see Angstrom Levy return and cause trouble for Mark. On the other hand, I'm worried about what this means for Mark and the rest of the world.
Levy is a powerful and dangerous villain, and he's clearly up to something big. The fact that he's been able to capture Mark and bring him to the Pentagon is a testament to his power and influence. I'm not sure what Levy's plans are, but I'm sure they're not good.
I'm also worried about the death of Omni-Man. Omni-Man was a powerful and feared villain, but he was also Mark's father. Mark is going to have to deal with the emotional fallout of his father's death, and I'm not sure how he's going to handle it.
Overall, I'm excited to see what happens next in Invincible Season 2. The show has been a wild ride so far, and I'm sure the rest of the season will be just as exciting.
