However, beneath her aloof exterior lies a wanderer with an insatiable curiosity and a longing for adventure. Capturing Nami's heart may prove to be a challenge, necessitating players to seek guidance and employ strategies to secure her hand in marriage.

How To Increase Nami's Affection

To increase Nami's affection level, it is recommended for players to engage in gift-giving and daily conversations with her. Her affection level can be verified by either reading her diary or checking the menu in the players' inventory. Nami follows a flexible schedule, therefore players can easily locate her if they are aware of her frequently visited locations. Due to her adventurous nature, her day-to-day routine may vary slightly.

Typically, Nami begins her mornings at approximately 9:00 AM inside her room located at the Inn. At around 10:00 AM, she will venture out to explore the ponds and beaches of Forgotten Valley or spend time with her friends. Her preferred locations include Turtle Pond, the Beach, the Forest, Gordy's House, and Bluebird Cafe. Players can reliably find her back at the Inn by midnight.

Nami's Favorite Gifts

In order to increase Nami's affection, players can interact with her daily or opt for a more effective method of giving her gifts. To present a gift, simply hold the item and show it to her. Nami particularly favors the following items:

Soups are her preferred choice and can be prepared using recipes gathered from notes scattered throughout the village or passed down by the Nature Sprites. The Milky Soup stands out as the top choice, as it only requires Grade B or higher quality milk. However, she also has a fondness for Sweet Potato Soup. Players have the ability to cook by interacting with the sink in their own house.

At the Dig Site, you can find Clay Items and Fossils. The Dig Site is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, except on days when the traveling salesman, Van, arrives in town. These items are found on the same level as the Trick Blue Flowers. Trick Blue Flowers grow during the Autumn season and are eventually added to Van's inventory to be sold for 100G.

Festivals

Nami can also be asked out on a date during various festivals held throughout the seasons. The Summer Fireworks Festival and the Winter Starlight Festival are particularly ideal occasions to build a stronger bond with Nami.

The Summer Fireworks take place on Summer 2 at approximately 6:00 PM. In order to initiate the event, players can either visit the beach or go back to their house. From there, they can select Nami as their desired companion for the date. It is important to make sure that, when Nami compliments the fireworks, players should mention that Charlie and Cole did an exceptional job.

The Winter Starlight Festival takes place on Winter 5 between 6:00 PM and 11:00 PM. To initiate the event, visit either Gustafa's House or the farmhouse. Participants will have the chance to make a wish, with the option of requesting a deeper connection with Nami.

All Nami Heart Events

As Nami's affection level rises, players will gain access to captivating cutscenes that offer a deeper understanding of Nami's background and personality. These memorable encounters also serve as opportunities for players to strengthen their bond with her, provided they choose their words carefully and avoid upsetting her. In addition to five Heart events, players can also experience an Introduction, Proposal, Engagement, and Marriage cutscene with Nami.

How to Marry Nami

Players can propose to Nami in the game once their affection level with her is sufficiently high. This can be done by presenting her with a Blue Feather, which is traditionally used for marriage proposals but is quite costly. However, players are fortunate to receive a complimentary Blue Feather during their first year in Forgotten Valley, courtesy of the Nature Sprites who find and gift it to them during the summer season.

In the event that players do not propose to Nami or any other character, Takakura, a character in the game, will ask them to choose a partner at the end of the first year. Nami will be included as an option as long as the player's affinity for her is strong enough.

Show Nami the Blue Feather just like any other gift, which will trigger the Proposal cutscene. Alternatively, by completing Nami's final Heart Event, players have the option to ask her to move in with them. This choice yields the same result as gifting her the feather. Upon sleeping on the last day of Winter, players will witness the Marriage Cutscene.

Choose from a boy or girl for the wedding, or let it be a random surprise. After a heartwarming cutscene, time will fast forward and a toddler will join the family. Spring arrives, allowing players to resume farming with a bigger house, a wife, and a child.
