How to Download Mystery Gifts
It is essential to have an active internet connection in order to download Mystery Gifts in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Once connected, users can access the menu by pressing the X button and navigating to the Poke Portal. From there, simply select the "Mystery Gift" option located at the bottom of the list and choose the preferred distribution method.
To redeem a code, choose "Get with Code/Password" and enter the code on the next screen. Other items can be obtained by clicking "Get via Internet." To view a list of claimed Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Mystery Gifts, select "Check Mystery Gifts." Unlike certain online features in the Gen 9 games, players do not require a Nintendo Switch Online membership to receive Mystery Gifts.
