Players of Hogwarts Legacy can now have another shot at obtaining Merlin's Cloak and the Professor Ronen Cosmetic Set. Avalanche Software, the developer of the game, has taken into consideration the feedback of fans who expressed their disappointment with the limited chances to get the coveted cloak. To make up for it, Avalanche has hosted a new stream called "Legacy Live" that provides players with another opportunity to obtain Merlin's Cloak. In addition, players can also win the new and exclusive Professor Ronen Cosmetic Set, which includes various wardrobe items such as spectacles, gloves, outfits, robes, a tasseled kufi, and a scarf.
A new Legacy Live event has been announced via Hogwarts Legacy's Twitter account, set to take place on June 1. Viewers must watch the Twitch stream for at least 30 minutes to be eligible for the free DLC, which includes Merlin's Cloak and the Ronen set. It should be noted that only those with a WB Games account linked to their Twitch account will be able to receive the items. The previous Legacy Live event took place on May 5, coinciding with the game's release for PS4 and Xbox One. In addition to Merlin's Cloak, new cosmetic items have been added as rewards for viewers of any streamer playing Hogwarts Legacy with Twitch Drops enabled.
There will likely be more chances for players to acquire new cosmetic items, including Merlin's Cloak. Although some players have already been enjoying Hogwarts Legacy, those with a Nintendo Switch will have to wait until November for the game's release. Nevertheless, Avalanche Software is expected to offer additional opportunities for Switch fans to obtain the rare item, as well as potentially releasing other new cosmetic items. Hogwarts Legacy is currently available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, with a Nintendo Switch version set to launch on November 14.
