Dueling feats in Hogwarts Legacy offer players small, yet rewarding optional combat challenges that can be completed for special gear appearance rewards. However, with some practice, players can master this feat by casting Levioso or any other spell of the same color as the orb.

To complete the challenging dueling feat, players must locate a troll in one of the many troll lairs and caverns scattered throughout the wizarding world. One prime location for finding a troll lair is northeast of the Forbidden Forest, and southwest of the North Ford Bog floo flame. To pinpoint the lair on the map, simply look for the small cave icon.

After dodging the troll's charge attack, players should swiftly cast the Flipendo spell to knock the troll's club out of its hands. The club will fall to the ground just after missing the player. Then, the player can pick up the club and use it to hit the troll with its own boulder.

After encountering a troll, the key to launching it into a destructible object is to cast Protego and then quickly use Ancient Magic to throw the boulder back at the troll. However, timing is crucial as it's difficult to anticipate when the troll will throw the boulder and to activate Protego in time. To initiate this unique encounter, you'll need to locate the web symbol on the map which indicates a spider lair. However, it's important to note that not just any spider will do. You'll need to find a Matriarch spider, and once you do, bury its head into the ground to begin the duel.

To make a giant spider flip head-first into the ground, use a combination of spells. First, cast Arresto Momentum as the spider prepares to attack, which will slow it down. Then, quickly follow up with Descendo to bury its head in the ground. With the correct timing, the result will be a comical sight.

Land an Expelliarmus cast at an enemy and use Ancient Magic throw just as the weapon is about to hit the ground. The controls for the throw should appear on the screen, but players may need to look up to see the weapon as it can bounce out of view. This dueling technique can be used against any enemy who wields a weapon. As long as the enemy's own weapon is thrown back at them, players will successfully complete the feat.

To successfully flip a dugbog, there are two methods that can be used. The first involves catching the dugbog off guard while it's waiting to strike and using the Disillusionment spell to approach undetected. Once close enough, cast Flipendo to flip the dugbog over.

Alternatively, you can use a purple force spell such as Depulso to flip the dugbog onto its back. Dugbogs tend to reside in lairs, which can be found by examining the map and hovering over cave locations, much like trolls.

To take down multiple enemies at once, you can launch a burning enemy into another nearby enemy. However, executing this move requires precision and strategy. You must carefully manipulate the situation to find two enemies in close proximity to each other before making your move.

To set two enemies on fire in one go, first use Confringo or Incendio to ignite the first enemy. Then, if the enemies are positioned in a way that allows for it, cast a purple force spell like Depulso to propel the first burning enemy into the second one. The second enemy will also catch fire, completing the maneuver.
