A talented fan of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet has taken this creativity a step further by designing captivating Paradox forms for Squirtle and its evolutionary line. These new designs offer a refreshing take for the rest of the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet community, presenting them with three distinct appearances for these beloved creatures simultaneously.

Since the announcement of the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, many fans have eagerly awaited the official release date of this new expansion. However, The Pokemon Company has yet to provide any concrete details regarding the DLC's launch date. In the meantime, the game's team has been engaging players with regular Tera Raid events, while the community has been actively creating their own content centered around Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

On Reddit, a user named Nickname-S shared their concept art featuring Squirtle and its evolutionary line, showcasing what these pocket creatures might look like if they had Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Paradox forms. Upon first glance, fans can immediately discern that the artist strayed from the traditional blue color scheme of Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise, instead opting for earthy brown shades for their bodies. Additionally, the wave-like tails of Squirtle and Wartortle were replaced with club-like tails, which the artist also incorporated into Blastoise's Paradox form. The artist also assigned unique titles to each of these pocket creatures, referring to them as Smashing Shell, Hardened Tutel, and Battering Beast, respectively.

This is not the first instance of a fan of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet creating fan art for a Kanto starter in the Paradox form. However, the artist known as Nickname-S has taken it a step further by incorporating different elements into their artwork, deviating from the original Water type. Each of these Paradox form Pokemon now possess the Ground/Steel typing, as clearly depicted in their drawings. The community has shown much appreciation for Nickname-S's work, as they can easily identify the sources of inspiration. One observer even noted that the Paradox form of Blastoise bears a resemblance to Gleerok's shell from The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Gen 7's Turtonator, and even Super Mario's Bowser.
